Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr teamed up with Dove Go Sleeveless last week to shower (no pun intended) the winner of Dove’s Go Sleevless Fashion Challenge with a $5,000 shopping spree to the popular NYC boutique Big Drop. Jessica has been working with Dove for a couple years so we knew she must really like their products. “They’re very real,” she told us over the phone. “They want women to feel confident.” What’s not to like about that?

When not hitting up Big Drop, Jess told us she likes to bargain shop at Target, Urban Outfitters, Kohls and Topshop and she also dished on her must-have beauty products, which include Dove Go Sleeveless and her favorite, Caudalie’s elixir spray.

CND-Solar-Oil.jpgIf you’re like us, you often forget about your cuticles … until you’re sitting in front of a manicurist who’s snipping away at them for what feels like forever. Well, if you introduce CND Solar Oil into your daily beauty regimen, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much better they’ll look in no time at all!

This nail and skin conditioner contains jojoba oil, which is packed with Vitamin E, in addition to rice bran and sweet almond oils. What does this mean for your cuticles—and your hands, too? They’ll be moisturized, conditioned, soft, smooth … oh, yeah, and they’ll smell amazing.

We love the bottle for its easy application. It looks just like a nail polish bottle and contains a nail brush to easily sweep the product onto your cuticles. Plus it smells amazing, since the almond oil gives it a sweet aroma.

We recommend keeping it either on your nightstand (to apply right before bed) or on your desk at work (for when you’re stuck on those annoying conference calls). Then simply rub into your hands and voila! Softer, smoother skin in no time.

CND Solar Oil retails for $9 at
stellasheer11_smh.jpgSigh. Another summer, another Stella Sheer. This one is even better than last year’s in my opinion — closer to Stella McCartney’s signature scent, Stella, with a splash of citrus courtesy of lemon and apple notes layered on my fave (and apparently Stella’s as well) scent: peony.

3.3 oz. Stella Sheer, $62 at

Emi-Jay-Jewel-Hair-Ties.jpgWant something more fun to hold your ponytail in place than just the typical rubber band? Well, Emi-Jay Hair Ties are here to help.

Each Emi-Jay Hair Tie—and there are a lot to choose from—has been hand-dyed and knotted. They’re made from a stretchy material that, while wrapping around the hair multiple times, still don’t lose their stretch or get too stretched out! (A problem we tend to have with the rubber bands we buy by the hundreds at the drugstore.) They come in tons of different patterns and colors … really, every color under the sun!

And if you need more convincing? They’re pretty enough to wear as bracelets! What more could you ask for?

Emi-Jay Hair Ties start at $10.99 for a pack of 5 and are available at
Crabtree-Evelyn-Lavender-Candle.pngBack in May, we told you about the fabulousness that is the Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Room Spray. Well, if you just can’t get enough of the heady scent, you simply must add the Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Poured Candle to your lavender repertoire.

Like the room spray, the candle is scented with notes of lavender, violet, tonka bean, lemon leaf and soft musk. And like the room spray, the candle brings an absolutely delightful, rich and divine aroma to any room.

What’s different about the candle, then? Well, for starters, it contains natural vegetable waxes, including soy, which we think is pretty cool. It also features a non-toxic and clean-burning cotton wick. But the best part? It has a burn time of 40 hours! That means you can bring the lovely scent of lavender to your home for days on end … which, if you ask us, isn’t such a bad thing.

The Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Poured Candle retails for $30 at
