I’m one of those people who never leaves the house without mascara. A quick swipe instantly brightens my eyes and wakes up my face, and it’s typically the only makeup I wear when I’m in a rush. I often experiment with different mascaras in search of that perfect lash, so I was very excited to try the new Voluminous False Fiber Lash™ from L’Oreal. I applied one coat of mascara to the right eye above. I was really pleased with how full and curled my lashes looked, you can really see the difference between the two eyes. The best part about the mascara was that after hours of wearing, there was no flaking and the mascara didn’t run like many other mascaras I’ve tried, so my eyes looked just as good at the end of the day as they did at the beginning. And speaking of the end of the day, the mascara washed off easily with just soap and water (a prerequisite for me when it comes to mascara, I hate using makeup remover!)

I have baby fine, straight hair. Some of you may drool with jealousy at this seemingly easy hair type but I assure you, the grass is not always greener. When my hair is stick straight it looks so piecey and odd that I feel a little like Taylor Momsen, not something I strive for. So I like it to have a little bit of a natural bounce to it — to achieve this I use the L’Oreal EverSleek Humidity Defying Leave-In Creme. First of all it helps my hair from getting too much bounce from the humid summers we have where I live. Second of all it is so light and airy that it does not weigh down my poor baby fine hair. I use it every time I wash my hair and I’m never sorry I did. Plus the line is free of sulfates and doesn’t seem to have any harsh effects on my highlighted hair.
