So fresh and so clean: great shower gels on the cheap

shower-gels-under-25.jpgI’m a self-professed shower gel junky, my linen closet has been known to overflow with them as I covet every scent I can get my hands on in every formula imaginable. But I will admit that while I’m a sucker for their frothy goodness, I have a select few that are near and dear to my heart!

First up is Philosophy Sugar Sprinkles Funnel Cake Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath. The smell of this shower gel is simply heaven-sent yummy, but it’s the formula that I love the most. Many of Philosophy’s bath products pack a tri-power punch, and while I don’t use them as shampoo often, it’s saved me a time or two (think post workout lifesaver).
$16 at Sephora.com.

Next is a drugstore wonder that is actually my current go to. Caress Silkening Body Wash Tahitian Renewal won’t set you back more than $5 and smells divine. Best of all it has these exfoliating beads in it that leave my skin feeling exfoliated and fresh.

I’ve previously discussed my desire to smell like a baked good at all times — Cake Beauty Desserted Island Supremely Rich Bath & Shower Froth aims to keep me on this mission. It smells like a coconuty-vanilla concoction and is extra thick and luxurious. Between the smell and the feel of my skin I find myself intoxicated.

Many of us suffer from acne on our bodies, and yet very few companies do anything to address this problem. I’m psyched to say that Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Body Wash Pink Grapefruit  is gentle enough to use even on sensitive skin. It is great even if you’re not experiencing a breakout and the pink grapefruit scent is light and refreshing.
$5.79 at Target.com.

Last, but certainly not least, is Soap & Glory Clean On Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel. This great shower gel also has a citrusy scent that almost smells sparkling, but it’s the super cleaning power that I love. It will help your skin get, and stay clean, something every girl wants in a shower gel.
