Best-Sunscreens-For-Body-2012.jpgLast week we brought you our 2012 installment of the best sunscreens for face. Do you really think we would leave body out of the equation? Check out the sunblocks and sunscreens we’re totally loving this year, which of course keep your body protected from the sun and looking its absolute best!

Avon ANEW Solar Advance Sunscreen Body Lotion
This lotion has quickly become one of our go-to sunscreens of the summer, thanks to its sweet yet not saccharine scent and the fact that it sinks into skin immediately. Plus the SPF 30 means we won’t burn on 97 degree days.

Lavanila The Healthy Sunscreen SPF 30 Body Cream
With protectants against harmful UVA and UVB rays, this sunscreen already made the cut. Add in a rich formula (without any greasy residue) and a deliciously subtle vanilla scent and we’re hooked.

Kiehl’s Activated Sun Protector Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50
We love a good SPF 50 for beach days (or laying out on the roof of a spectacular NYC apartment or gym). This one’s non-greasy formula—seriously, absolutely no evidence of it being on the skin only seconds after applying—plus the fact that a little goes a long way—makes it a sure standout.

CoTZ Pure The Healthier Sunscreen
Formulated with ingredients like shea butter, this one almost melts into the skin. We love that it’s water-resistant, too.

Josie Maran SPF 30+ Argan Sun Protection for Body
Argan oil is good for pretty much anything, from shiny hair to restoring moisture to the skin. And, since our skin tends to get dried out pretty fast in the sun, we’re totally loving this sunscreen with natural ingredients and—you guessed it—argan oil.

Neutrogena SPF 70 Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunblock
Not a year goes by that we don’t include this in our favorite sunscreens of all time. For a mist, it really covers every inch of the body amazingly well, with absolutely no greasy residue left behind. Plus it rings in at under 10 bucks.

‘Magic Mike’ star, Cody Horn, walked the red carpet in support of her new movie this past week. While her character in the movie has the signature long, voluminous locks of a love interest, Cody seems to prefer her hair kept short and sleek. Her wet head look is a summer essential, especially on a laid back weekend. The easiest way to achieve a look like this is to add a little bit of spray gel, like Herbal Essence Tousle Me Gentle Spray Gel, to hair when after it’s dry. Spray gel gives hair the needed texture and will give it the wet appearance. The key is to keep combs and brushes away from hair after spraying in the gel.
Benefit-Blush-Lip-Gloss.jpgDon’t you love when blushes and lipglosses go together like peanut butter and jelly? We sure do. And, apparently, so does Benefit, because the brand’s new lipglosses perfectly match their Box O’Powders!

The six shades in the collection are most certainly a match made in heaven. Each blush and lipgloss complement and match each other, so your lips and cheeks will be in perfect harmony! Choose from the following shades:

CORALista (sheer coral)
Dandelion (soft pearly pink)
Dallas (dusty rose)
Sugarbomb (shimmering pinky nude)
Bella Bamba (sheer bright watermelon)
Hoola (shimmering golden nude)

We love all six just for the fun names alone! It’s just a bonus that they all make your lips and cheeks look amazing, too.

Benefit Box O’Powders retail for $28 each. Benefit Lip Glosses retail for $16 each. Snap them all up at benefitcosmetics.com.
These days sunless tanners are a dime a dozen, but they are certainly not created equal. Check out our favorite picks for getting the perfect glow sans the threat of skin cancer.

Nivea Sun-Kissed Beautiful Legs Gradual Tan Moisturizer
I’ve used this moisturizer for years and I love how it does double-duty. First of all it adds a subtle glow, all while it helps your shave last longer. That’s a win-win in my book!

This great self tanner has an exclusive Firm Perfecting Complex that contains six anti-cellulite ingredients, including collagen, elastin, and ginseng. With each use you’ll notice less cellulite and more glow.

Bliss A Tan for All Seasons
Spray on self tanners have become quite popular, partially because of their easy application. Just make sure you spray onto skin in even strokes for the most natural color.

Philosophy Here Comes the Sun Age-Defense Golden Glow Self-Tanner For Body
I adore Philosophy’s products, so checking out their new self tanner was a must. Infused with an amino acid complex it helps firm and tone skin from the inside out.

TanTowel Classic Self-Tan Towelette For Face & Body
The joy of these towelettes is how easy they allow for application of self tanner. And the bonus is they have a refreshing citrus scent, instead of the usual chemical scent most self tanners have.

Mila-Kunis-Ted-Premiere.jpgIt goes without saying that Mila Kunis is a stunning girl. We always love seeing what she does on the red carpet, both fashion and beauty wise. And the premiere of her new movie with Mark Wahlberg, Ted, definitely ranks as one of her best.

We’re absolutely loving Mila’s smoky eyes, peachy pink lips and super straight, sleek hair. This is a definite win for her on the red carpet—she just knocked it out of the ballpark! None of the elements compete with each other, they all work in perfect harmony and the final result is just effortlessly gorgeous and sexy.
