Jessica Chastain’s makeup was perfectly chosen to complement her bold, red Alexander McQueen gown at the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards. Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle used Lancôme and Yves Saint Laurent products to create this beautiful look.

Applying Lancôme Blush in Peche Joue-Joue on her cheeks, Lancôme Color Design Sensational Effects Eye Shadow in Filigree and Snap and Lancôme Liner Design Gel Eyeliner in Black Fishnets on her eyes, and Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara on her lashes. But it was her deep strawberry red lips that were the perfect finishing touch to this look, Kristofer relied on Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine in Rouge in Danger to get it just right.
Chanel-Tentation-Nail-Polish.jpgYou know those times when you pick up a bottle of nail polish and you have really high hopes … and then they’re realized once you see the color on your nail? That’s exactly what will happen when you try Chanel Tentation.

Tentation is just the most gorgeous shade of rich, deep fuchsia. But what really sets it apart is the gorgeous whitish silver shimmer. It’s one of those colors that you just can’t stop staring at once you paint your nails! We picked it for a pedicure for an upcoming trip to Los Angeles—and we especially love it for a pedicure, but it’s equally as beautiful as a manicure.

And, really, what’s better than a bottle of Chanel nail polish? (Answer: nothing.)

Chanel Tentation retails for $27 at chanel.com.

After seeing how great Julianne Hough’s hair looked at the Golden Globes as a result of Unite Blonda Toning Shampoo and Conditioner I had to give them a shot myself. And I was not disappointed! After one use my hair color was less brassy and shinier — not to mention it felt incredibly soft and healthy. I was amazed at how beautifully bright my hair looked. Typical of shampoos and conditioners formulated for blondes these are violet tinted, though I didn’t notice any staining or marking on my skin after use, which is always good. The Unite Blonda Toning Shampoo and Conditioner should not replace your regular, daily products, but can be used once a week or bi-weekly to add depth and shine to your blonde hair.

You can buy Unite Blonda Toning Shampoo and Conditioner for $26 at shop.unitehair.com.
Hurraw-Lip-Balm.pngI’m pretty obsessed with lip balm. At any one moment in time, I probably have at least five or six rattling around in my purse, not to mention another gaggle in my living room, my bedroom, my bathroom, my office … the list goes on and on. That being said, it takes a lot for a lip balm to make it into my prized collection—but Hurraw! Lip Balm has done just that.

I picked up one of these balms on a recent trip to American Apparel—it was just a last-minute purchase because I saw it sitting near the register. I didn’t really know what to expect, but I certainly didn’t anticipate falling head over heels!

This lip balm is all natural, vegan and raw—none of which I am, but I still can appreciate it. It’s made using premium fair trade ingredients from organic farmers, and it’s even gluten-free and kosher. Pretty cool, huh? But what I absolutely love about it is the fact that it makes my lips feel fantastic. It softens and smooths them, even when they feel chapped from the horrible winter winds we’ve been experiencing as of late. And it lasts for hours! I can put it on before bed and my lips still feel great the next morning.

Hurraw! Lip Balm comes in seven different tasty flavors and retails for $3.80 at americanapparel.net.
We don’t know about you, but our hands are taking a serious beating this winter. No matter how thick our gloves or how deep our hands stay inside our pockets, they just seem to be cracking and chapping more than ever before. If it weren’t for the hand creams below, though, we’d be in MUCH worse shape! These are the four hand creams that really help to soothe winter ravaged skin.
