L'Occitane-Cherry-Blossom-Shower-Gel.jpgThat saying, “Life is just a bowl of cherries?” We were never really sure we understood what that meant … until now. Because our newfound love affair with L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Bath & Shower Gel has most definitely sealed the deal.

We’ve long been a fan of the L’Occitane brand. The shower gels, shea butters, hand washes, skincare … you name it, we’ve tried and loved it. But ever since trying this luxurious, luscious shower gel, we’re fairly certain we’ve found the pinnacle of our obsession.

The scent of cherry blossoms — containing cherry extract from Luberon, France — is delicate yet sensuous, flirty yet feminine. It also lathers and foams incredibly well with just a dime-sized amount upon a pouf or washcloth.

And the piece de resistance? We’re in love with the simple yet beautiful bottle — and the gorgeous color of the shower gel held within.

L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Bath & Shower Gel retails for $20 at usa.loccitane.com.
tarte kabuki brush.jpg
Mineral makeup had us at our first swirl and tap. We will never deny that. But some kabuki brushes, especially in drugstore brand mineral makeup, leave much to be desired.

So when we first discovered Tarte’s Glam on the Go kabuki brush (it came as a free gift at Ulta), we were excited to see if it lived up to our high standards. Oh, let us tell you…it did.

When you first feel the bristles, you almost can’t believe how soft they are. Your next thought is how dense the brush is. We knew that with such a dense brush, we were going to get fantastic, full coverage with our mineral makeup - which we did. When we apply the right amount of makeup, we get a beautiful airbrushed finished that is hard to find with other kabuki brushes.

Plus, Tarte is such a wonderful cosmetics company. All of their products are cruelty free, phthalates and sodium lauryl sulfate free, wrapped in biodegradable packaging.

And above all, one of the most notable things about Tarte’s Glam on the Go brush is how well built it is. We washed this brush out about one or twice a week for quite some time, and never lost a bristle. Now that’s solid construction.

The perfect size for stowing away in an already-jam packed makeup bag, cute reusable faux croc (we like to use it for lipsticks or change) and a perfect dome top for beautiful blending, we find it hard to think we’d find another kabuki brush for the price that we loved more! $29, sephora.com
Lather-Spearmint-Tea-Tree-Lip-Protector-SPF-15.jpgWe’re constantly trying new lip balms. Scented, flavored, pot, stick, it doesn’t matter — we never have less than 10 in our rotating arsenal. But, recently, one has definitely surfaced above the rest — Lather Spearmint & Tea Tree Lip Protector SPF 15.

This paraben-free, protective lip balm is formulated with tons of good-for-the-lips ingredients that help to keep them soft and smooth. Ingredients like royal jelly, B-vitamins and pure beeswax ensure that lips stay nourished and hydrated — and, thankfully, chap-free.

We love the scent and taste of this balm, too. The spearmint and tea tree oils within make it refreshing, cooling and just a touch zesty — and they just make it feel so luxurious.

Truth be told, our lips haven’t felt this good in weeks. And we hardly ever need to reapply!

Lather Spearmint & Tea Tree Lip Protector SPF 15 retails for $6.50 at lather.com.
Archipelago-Botanicals-Candle.jpgCall it an obsession, call it a fascination. Whatever you call it, we love candles. Truth be told, we have dozens upon dozens of candles in our house. But none are quite like the Archipelago Botanicals Ribbons of Love Soy Candle.

A blend of grapefruit, clementine and pomelo notes are invigorating, captivating and totally tantalizing. The scent fills our living room without becoming overpowering, which is tough to find in a candle. We also love the pretty pink wax held within the sleek white jar. The candle contains almost 70 percent natural soy wax, and it burns for about 90 hours! Yes, you read that right — 90! Can you believe that?

And as if that weren’t enough, the candle was conceived and created by the women of Archipelago to raise awareness and funds for research and treatment of breast cancer.

There’s just so much to love about this candle, wouldn’t you agree?

The Archipelago Botanicals Ribbons of Love Soy Candle retails for $30 at archipelago-usa.com.
Spring-Nails.jpg
So, it’s been pretty obvious that we’ve been obsessed with nails lately, as seen here and here. Last spring, we were all over pinks, purples, corals and greens. Fall brought on greys of all varieties, followed by glitzy golds, glitters and silvers during the holidays. Now, in the onset of spring, neutral, natural nails have been spotted on tons of our beauty icons and celebrities (like the close ups we have above pulled from this year’s Oscars.)

Though bright posie pinks and minty greens scream spring, we’re loving the more understated, whispering sheer and pale peaches and pinks. The lack of color gives your hands a seamless, clean look. Plus, they are less fussy, because chips are less visible!

Give one of these six must-have-for-spring colors a try, and breathe a breath of fresh, neutral air!
