Rollerball-Image.jpgThere are many factors to consider when choosing a fragrance. Do you like the scent? Is the bottle worthy of sitting on a vanity? Is the scent good enough that the 3.4 oz. will actually be used up? When traveling, are you willing to check your bags so you can bring your perfume with you?

If the answers to these questions seem a bit murky, then we’ve got a solution for you. Try a rollerball fragrance! These minis are perfect for so many reasons — they fit in even the smallest clutch, they’re amazing for travel, and it’s pretty tough to get sick of them when they’re so tiny! Check out some of our favorites — they’re guaranteed to make you much less afraid of fragrance commitment.

Lola Marc Jacobs Rollerball ($22)
From pink peppercorn and pear to ruby red grapefruit and fuchsia peony, this is a feast for the senses!

Philosophy Amazing Grace Rollerball ($18)
Floral blossoms and light musk make this one of our all-time favorite fragrances. And the rollerball size just makes us happy to bring it everywhere we go.

Fresh Sugar Lemon Rollerball ($18.50)
Italian lemons, yuzu, mandarin, orange blossom, lychee flower … do those notes intrigue you as much as they do us? We LOVE this one.

DKNY Delicious Duo Rollerball ($20)
Be Delicious on one end, Be Delicious Fresh Blossom on the other — we’re loving the fact that this is two for the price of one.

CLEAN Shower Fresh Rollerball ($20)
Want to smell like you just got out of the shower? Notes of mandarin, sheer woods and lily of the valley will help you do just that.

Twirl by Kate Spade Roll-On ($18)
Inspired by the feel of “joie de vivre,” this fun and sparkling fragrance makes a happy splash with notes of pink watermelon, blackberry and red currant.

All of these rollerball fragrances are available at sephora.com.

As far back as we can remember, we were always told that the more symmetrical your face, the more beautiful you were. We were told there were studies, and specific science behind the link between symmetry and beauty. Well, the proof is in the pudding, or rather, the iPhone app.

New app Muggum, which costs 99 cents, is a silly, and intriguing way of seeing what you would actually look like if both sides of your face were identical. Would you be more beautiful, or well, slightly strange looking, like Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie (who totally looks like a fake alien), and Natalie Portman?

We haven’t tried it on our faces yet, but if these three slightly imperfect beauties came out looking like that, well…there can’t be much hope for us!

But how does it work, exactly? Here’s how the Muggum site explains their product:

This easy-to-use photography app takes images directly from the camera in your iPhone or iPod Touch and instantly creates two side-by-side symmetrical portraits, which you can fine tune using a bi-directional guide. Instantly upload to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Flickr - or, save to Photo Album or Email. Take fun and hilarious pictures of yourself, your friends, your kids, your pets, or even celebrities in magazines! Great for profile pics and online avatars!

We’re itching to try it… are you? Upload your photos onto the Stylebakery.com Facebook page if you decide to play around with this fun app!

Votivo-Honeysuckle-Candle.jpgIt might still be winter, but we’re seriously looking forward to spring. So much so, we’ve started burning a candle that makes us think of warmer temperatures, walks outside and wearing dresses with gladiator sandals … none other than Votivo’s Honeysuckle Candle.

Honeysuckle is one of those scents that’s called to us ever since we were little. The heady flower grew near our grandparents’ house, and every time we smell it now, we’re brought right back to our childhood. Votivo captures the scent exactly, with a sensual and tantalizing aroma that fills our home within minutes yet never feels cloying or close.

The candle itself is beautiful — richly hued wax is poured into a glass jar and wrapped with the signature Votivo seal. And with a burn time of 50 hours, we’re guaranteed to let spring into our home right up until warmer temperatures actually arrive.

The Votivo Honeysuckle Candle retails for $25 at votivo.com.
Ballerina-OPI-collection.jpg
Since last spring, neutrals - especially in shoes - have been on trend. They extend your legs to glorious lengths, so the fact that nudes and neutrals are still the talk of the fashion town this spring (and will continue into fall) is hardly a surprise at all. Enter the Sephora by OPI Urban Ballerina collection. This new color set is probably one of our favorite releases by OPI as of late (second to that would be the Texas collection.) Adding a neutral tone to your nails - either your hands or feet - is honestly the best addition to any outfit or accessory. It’s the perfect canvas for your wardrobe - trust us. Each of these colors is so soft, so creamy, so delicious, it makes us want to do plies in our pink tutus!

By far, our favorite hues are Leotard Optional (far left), and Break a Leg-Warmer! (far right.) Every gal needs these in her lacquer drawer. Two of the much lighter hues, which make you look super tan, btw, are The Way Tutu His Heart and Let’s Plie (which is metallic, unlike the prior three that are opaque.)

Rounding off the three sparkly colors is Shiny Dancer (top row grey), and Who’s Spinning Tonight (grapey-purple.) We prefer the creamy opaque colors, but the metallic tones are fun, too, especially that uber bright purple, though we aren’t entirely sure how it fits into the collection (we guess every girl needs a little pizazz, huh?) $9.50, sephora.com
