We thought we’d seen it all when it came to the world
of mascara. But then Clinique went
ahead and gave us something new to talk about, thanks to their brand-new Bottom Lash Mascara.
As if you hadn’t already guessed, this mascara is meant just for the bottom lashes. It comes in a tiny tube, and the brush is designed specifically for coating those pesky, miniature, hard-to-reach bottom lashes. It grips even the tiniest lashes and resists smearing, so you don’t have to worry about looking like you don’t know how to apply mascara properly.
We love the fact that a few swipes of this mascara makes our eyes come alive. No matter how much (or how little!) sleep we got the night before, our bottom lashes now make us look refreshed and well-rested. It comes in both brown and black, so you can control the dramatic impact you wish to have. (If you’re like us, you always, always go for black.)
To remove, simply splash warm water onto your lashes and press gently. Voila! The mascara comes right off!
Clinique Bottom Lash mascara retails for $10 at sephora.com.
If you ask us, the combination of citron, honey and
coriander is a complete and total win. So the latest collection from Crabtree & Evelyn—aptly named the Citron, Honey & Coriander collection—just
makes us swoon!
The collection is inspired by aromatic ripening citron in the sun-drenched Mediterranean, honey gathered during a warm day and peppery coriander nurtured in sunny herb gardens. Doesn’t that just sound divine? These lush, fragrant notes combine with skin-softening shea butter and evening primrose oil to create product after product that’s fresh, nourishing and oh so delightful.
If you’re like us, you’ll be amazed at all of the products this collection has to offer. From a skin smoothing body scrub and refreshing body bar to a skin quenching body lotion and even a lip butter, there really is something for everyone to be had here.
And at the very least, you can feel like you’ve taken a trip to a far distant land. What’s so bad about that?
The Crabtree & Evelyn Citron, Honey & Coriander collection retails for $5-$60 at crabtree-evelyn.com.
The 2011 color of the year, as announced by Pantone, is the one and only honeysuckle. The vibrant, dynamic reddish pink “elevates our psyche beyond escape,” as stated by the Pantone website. And we couldn’t agree more! We’ve rounded up some of the brightest honeysuckle-hued products we can find that are all right on trend — and definitely boost our spirits!
