Lea Michele’s shimmering blue eyeliner looks like something her glitter-loving Glee character Rachel Berry would experiment with at Regionals, but here she is pulling it off at last months’ Vanity Fair Oscar Party. So what made this look less high school and more high fashion?

Lea’s peachy/pink lip and simple ponytail keeps the look simple, but we’re not sure if it would have worked if she wasn’t wearing a dress made out of blue sequins. What do you think?

CND-Scentsations-Wildflower-Chamomile-Wash.jpgWe’re going to let you in on a little secret. We are FINISHED with winter. We refuse to slather on any more heavy moisturizers or rich-smelling body washes. So when we came across CND Scentsations Wildflower & Chamomile Wash, we immediately brought it into our shower for a little taste of spring.

A delicate blend of flowers and fresh chamomile really do make us feel like spring has come right into the shower with us. We also love how well the body wash lathers — a dime-sized amount yields so many suds upon a pouf, it’s like you’re in the middle of a bubble bath.

And if you’re concerned about keeping your skin feeling baby soft, this wash — formulated with Vitamins A and E and aloe vera — will do just that. It’s really a true delight for the senses!

So while the weather still has a bit of catching up to do, we’re now in the mood to wear short skirts, striped tees and gladiator sandals!

CND Scentsations Wildflower & Chamomile Wash retails for $11.50 at timetospa.com.

Want to know a secret? There’s nothing we love more than bargain beauty products, especially products that are so amazing, they rival any of the prestige brands at major department stores. One of our favorite places to shop is the beauty section at Target. Not only do they carry all your favorite drugstore brands like Revlon and Neutrogena, but they have an incredible selection of Indie Beauty brands from famous makeup artists like Sonia Kashuk, Jemma Kidd, Petra Strand (Pixi) and Napoleon Perdis.

To help promote Target’s “prettiest little secrets” initiative, we were asked to test out some of our favorite Indie Beauty products available at Target. Here are our top 4 must-haves:

1. Sonia Kashuk Instructional Eye Palette Shadow

This genius little palette not only contains 12 beautiful, blendable shades, but the smart compact contains step by step instructions on how to create 3 different eye looks. It’s like having your own professional makeup artist in your makeup bag!

2. Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer No.1

This oil free water based primer is a must for your daily makeup application. It helps to even out your skin tone and creates a dewy, smooth surface on which to apply foundation and blush. It can even be worn alone for light coverage. We really love the luxurious, silky feel of the product and the smoothing effect it has on skin.

3. Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel

If you’ve only ever used a powder blush, you will be quickly won over by this sheer cheek gel. With an incredible gel-like texture, this cheek stain literally melts right into skin for a natural looking flush without the dry, powdery look of most blushes. It blends easily, has a weightless feel, and seems to last all day. A real winner!

4. Pixi Lid and Line Eye Makeup

Ideal for the girl on the go, this is 3 products in one convenient stick: a liner, shadow and smudge brush in one. The color goes on easy and ensures a nice color-coordinated eye. Perfect for touchups throughout the day (or night).

Now that we’ve shared some of our favorites, stay tuned for our video where we spill our beauty secrets coming later this month. In the meantime, Target wants to hear from you! Spill your prettiest little secrets for the chance to win some sweet swag from Target Beauty.

agadir_smh.jpgI have long, thick, wavy hair. That’s the dream, right? Except I forgot to mention one other adjective: frizzy. Enter Agadir’s Argan Oil Hair Treatment.

During my latest hair appointment at Maude, my stylist Claire used a dime-sized amount of the product on my tresses after towel-drying my hair and I immediately thought, “Of course, talk up the $26 hair oil and then try to sell it to me as I walk out the door.” But she didn’t have to try at all because I was happy to pick up a small bottle and an even smaller TSA-approved travel tube of the stuff after what it did to my hair. It tamed my hair, but left it feeling natural and not at all product-y.

Added bonus: it works brilliantly as a finishing serum.
Dior-Addict-Lip-Glow.jpgIf you’re looking for a lipcolor that will be unique, individual and look completely different on you than anyone else, we’ve got the perfect one for you. Its name? Dior Addict Lip Glow.

This unassuming pink tube looks like it contains a moisturizing, nourishing lip balm — which, in essence, it does. But in addition to being one of our favorite balms, it also imparts a gorgeous pink hue once it reacts with your body chemistry. What does this mean? The pink looks completely different on every woman!

We’ve found that applying it three or four times throughout the day or night leaves us with a gorgeous, almost fuchsia-like shade that actually makes heads turn … and looks amazing in pictures!

But be forewarned — this balm does not come off easily! If you’re looking for a color that lasts for hours without fading, this one really delivers. It even lasts while you sleep!

So go ahead, pinkify your lips. We’re betting you’ll be glad you did.

Dior Addict Lip Glow retails for $29 at sephora.com.
