We’ve all been there: alarm blaring WAY before we’ve completely slept off last night’s cocktails with the girls. A shower and coffee may help wake us up, but wait a minute - what’s going to help wake this tired skin?!

We say: if you can’t beat it, fake it. You may not feel anywhere near a million bucks, but follow these tips and you’ll look it in no time…five minutes to be exact.

1. Give skin a double boost by smoothing on a  primer that hydrates and brightens, Tarina Tarantino Pearl Glow primer.
P254900_hero.jpgThe primer hydrates and smooths skin while light reflective crushed pearl pigments brighten skin and diffuse light to fake a radiance. Time: 1 minute.

2. Apply a sheer to medium coverage tinted moisturizer to mask imperfections and even out skin tone. Depending on the amount of coverage you’d like, use fingers for more control and coverage, or a dampened sponge for a more sheer finish.
P49000_hero.jpg Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer has just enough pigment while still being lightweight and invisible. Added bonus? SPF to protect skin from harmful rays. Time: 1 minute.

3. Any problem areas are easily covered with a creamy concealer like Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage.
P109931_hero.jpgUse a small concealer brush to dot onto problem areas with precision, then use your ring finger to tap into skin and diffuse, for the most natural coverage. Time: 1 minute.

4. We’ve been trained to be afraid of powders to set our makeup, for fear of looking unnaturally matte or cakey. The new HD powders are foolproof, and give skin a soft-focus look. Makeup For Ever Microfinish contains silica powder, which helps to soften the appearance of imperfections.
P210400_hero.jpgSprinkle a small amount into cap, swirl powder brush, tap off excess, and lightly dust over contours of the face. A little goes a long way. Time: 1 minute.

5. Lastly, here’s an insider tip to a fresh, no makeup look: Spritz skin with a light facial spray to take down the powder, set, and give an added dose of hydration. Shu Uemura Depsea Facial Water Mist contains over 60 minerals to enhance moisture.
P235606_hero.jpgHolding bottle 1-15 inches from skin, mist lightly and let dry. It may sound counter-productive after applying the other four products, but trust us: One time, and you’ll wonder how you ever lived without this step! Time: 1 minute.

Total time elapsed: 5 minutes, which leaves you time to stop for that double latte!

Alice-In-Wonderland-Poster2.jpgThe highly anticipated Alice in Wonderland movie is being released next month, and in celebration of the event, two of our favorite brands have launched goodies we think you’ll be excited about.

OPI_Alice_In_Wonderland.jpgOPI Alice in Wonderland Collection is a small, eclectic collection of shades, but we think it’s the opposite of nonsensical. These magical glitters and cremes create a fantastic mix of eccentricity sure to delight any nail polish fanatic. Colors include Absolutely Alice (dreamy blue glitter), Mad as a Hatter (multi-coloured glitter), Thanks So Muchness! (shimmery red) and Off with Her Red (sizzling hot red). Limited Edition. Mini set, $10 at amazon.com

urban_decay_AliceInWonderlandPalette.jpg

Urban Decay Disney Alice In Wonderland Palette features a top that opens to reveal a pop-up scene of Alice in the mushroom forest and just behind her, a makeup lover’s dreamland: a fierce collection of 16 eyeshadows, 2 liners and a primer. Though we dream of seeing Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, we admit we’re loving this palette just a hare more. Limited Edition. $52, sephora.com

NARS_Orgasm_Illuminator.jpgA lit-from-within glow is always beautiful and we can’t help but notice our favorite stars looking this way at every red carpet event. So, it’s only natural we would desire that same glow. While the original NARS Orgasm powder blush isn’t really the perfect shade for all skin tones (in our opinion), the new Orgasm Illuminator is definitely more versatile. This sheer, weightless fluid can be worn alone or mixed with your foundation to give skin a gorgeous, radiant glow— no special red carpet event required. $29, sephora.com
During award season the Grammys give us a break from the actors (well most of them, at least) and let us focus on seeing our favorite music stars shine. At last night’s celebration we saw many looks — these are our absolute favorites of the night.

pink_grammys2010.bmpWith her hair adorned with a pretty star pin, our favorite rocker chick Pink took on a softer look with gorgeous flushed pink cheeks and lips, a fabulous complement to her very pretty lashed-out eye look.

nicole_kidman_grammys2010.jpgNicole Kidman looks great as a blonde, but we are loving that she’s gone back to her natural red hue. To compliment her fair complexion, her makeup was kept light and dewy with a pretty pink lip color finished her look— gorgeous!

carrie_underwood_grammys2010.jpgCarrie Underwood can do no wrong in our book when it comes to hair and makeup. She recently had her tresses cut, and we love it. With a side-swept part and amazing highlights (who does her color? we’d love to know), the country superstar opted to go with her signature smoky eye look and glossy nude lip.

rihanna_grammys2010.jpgWhile we’re not huge fan’s of the hairstyle Rihanna chooses to rock, we admit it’s growing on us. The edgy musical darling softened her look up a bit for the night with icy white shadow and lots of long lashes.

jenniferlopez_grammys2010.bmpJennifer Lopez has enough experience under her belt to know what works for her. Soft, voluminous waves and a fierce smoky eye are nothing new for her, but we still think she looks amazing.

ciara_grammys2010.jpgHaving amazing skin is the first step to always having makeup look its best. Case in point, Ciara. The songstress could have gone completely bare-faced and looked amazing. Instead her makeup artist complimented her flawless skin with perfectly groomed brows and frosty pink lip.

taylor_swift_grammys2010.bmpEven with an updo, Taylor Swift kept her look youthful and elegant. We love her winged-out liner and bright pink lips that were a fabulous contrast to her blue sequined gown.

lea_michele_grammys2010.bmpLea Michele has made our list of faves for the SAG awards and the Golden Globes, and for good reason— she always looks fantastic. At the Grammys the Glee star upped the ante by going with a more bold eye look and shiny, sleek locks.

adam_lambert_grammys2010.bmpWe had to put Adam Lambert on our list. Why not? The guy always rocks the best eye makeup look.

lorac_color_me_couture_shadow_palette.jpgLet’s face it, makeup palettes are the best invention since sliced bread.
