Bliss-Lemon-Sage-Supershine-Shampoo.jpgWant hair that’s super shiny and smells amazing to boot? Pick up a bottle of Bliss Lemon + Sage Supershine Shampoo.

We’ve long been fans of this shampoo because it adds luster and makes our hair gleam. This is due to wheat proteins and provitamin B5, which even work to make hair less static-y. Perfect during the winter months when no amount of conditioner and heat styling get rid of the static electricity our hair seems to attract—but equally as wonderful in the summer when all you want is shiny, frizz-free locks no matter how humid the day might be.

Truth be told, part of the reason we love going to any Bliss Spa (aside from the amazing treatments, of course) is the opportunity to stand under the vichy shower and use the sweet-smelling shampoo! Oh, and the lemon and sage scent? Absolutely, utterly divine.

Bliss Lemon + Sage Supershine Shampoo retails for $18 at blissworld.com.

My poor hair was beginning to show signs of wear and split ends from my adoration for how it looks after I blow dry it. And I was beginning to show signs of stress and fatigue from worrying about my hair. That is until I found L’Oreal Paris EverSleek Precious Oil Treatment. This stuff is a wonder product! I generally use one to two little drops after blow drying to help add moisture and shine to my hair. But I have also used it on damp hair when I didn’t plan to blow dry and been happy with the results. It doesn’t wear my hair down, I avoid the roots and apply it only to ends, and it leaves my hair silky smooth and very shiny.
Mint-Nail-Polish-Essie-RGB.jpgIt’s hard to find that one perfect nail polish color that’s bright and attention-grabbing but not too over the top. One that looks just as good on fingers as it does on toes. As it turns out, mint nail polish is the way to go. These are our two favorite shades.

Essie Mint Candy Apple
Since its inception in 2009, this one has been a cult favorite—and it’s easy to see why. Two coats yield absolute perfection. This polish is neither too bright nor too muted, in some lights looking almost white and others near turquoise! But, no matter what, it’s sophisticated and chic.

RGB Minty
There’s no doubt about it, this polish really is minty green. At a recent pedicure appointment, it jumped out at us from the shelves of pinks and reds—and now we’re wearing it on our toes! Even our pedicurist had to confide that she buys bottles and bottles of this color for her personal collection. It’s creamy, it’s gorgeous, it’s completely unique. And, much like our pedicurist, we’re about to start stockpiling.

Metallic-Eyeshadow-Summer-2012-Beauty-Trends-Runway.jpgWant to know how to look beautiful and totally on trend this summer? Over the next few weeks, we’ll be bringing you the beauty trends you need to know about and incorporate into your routine, stat—and the products that will give you the looks in a flash.

Up this week: metallic eyeshadow! Another eye trend we normally see in colder months, this one is really taking wing with warmer temperatures. But it’s not just your standard sweep of the eyeshadow brush across your lid this season. Instead, think bold takes on gold and silver, like the gold leaf seen at Fendi or the banana-like shape above the lid at 3.1 Phillip Lim. Below, our favorite shadows!
