Heart-Beauty-Products-Valentine's-Day-Image.jpgValentine’s Day is tomorrow, and we’re really in the spirit now! We’re planning on spending the day with some good girlfriends, eating lots of yummy food (read: cupcakes) and watching tons of rom-coms. How about you? In any case, these three heart-printed beauty products really have us head over heels.

Avon Skin So Soft Signature Silk Replenishing Hand Cream
One of four Valentine’s Day-themed hand creams by Avon, this one is formulated with nourishing argan oil and smells of gardenia. Oh, and it makes your hands feel INCREDIBLE.
$0.79 (yes, you read that right!) at avon.com

Sephora Love At First Sight Glossy Gloss Duo
The heart-emblazoned package contains two gorgeous pink glosses—one light, one dark—deliver the prettiest pop of juicy color without an annoying tacky finish.
$14 at sephora.com

Lush The Kiss Lip Gloss
Is there anything cuter than this packaging? We love the heart with the silhouettes about to kiss in the middle. We’d actually classify the formula as a balm rather than a gloss, and we love the spicy mandarin flavor.

katy-perry-grammy-021113.jpg
While her Grammys dress was anything but demure — Katy Perry’s makeup was more on the modest side of things thanks to makeup artist Jake Bailey, who used Rimmel London products to create this natural, simple look.

Starting with her eyes, Jake used Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Black to define Katy’s lower lash line. Then he used Rimmel London’s Glam Eyes Eyeshadow Trio in Orion to add depth and contour to Katy’s eyelids. As a highlighting step, then he used Rimmel London’s Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick in Bulletproof Beige, on her eyelid and brow bone. Lastly he finished her off eye look with Rimmel London’s Scandal Eyes Mascara in Black.

Even the most natural of looks often includes extra work, so Jake evened out Katy’s skin with a custom base, by using a mixture of 1/3 Rimmel London BB Cream in Light with 2/3 Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation in Nude. “The BB Cream sheers the foundation out and gives it a little glow,” Jake said about the effect he created. Every red carpet look requires the right flush, so Jake used a dusting of Rimmel London’s Lasting Finish Soft Colour Mono Blush in Pink Rose on the apples of her cheeks.

And last but not least, Katy’s look was topped off with a lining of Rimmel London Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lipliner in Natural, and a coat of Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Crush.

anna-sophia-robb-loccitane-020713.jpg
While doing the usual whirlwind press stuff to promote her new (and much buzzed about) TV show, ‘The Carrie Diaries’, AnnaSophia Robb stopped by L’Occitane en Provence. Judging by some of the great stuff she left with, like the Shea Butter Hand Cream, Almond Shower Supple Skin Oil, Shea Butter Ultra-Rich Body Cream, and Lavender Foaming Bath, I’m guessing she was looking for a little reprieve from the blustery, freezing temps in NYC, as well as the stress of preparing for the launch of a new, much-hyped, TV show. AnnaSophia Robb will be playing the younger version of fashion’s beloved TV character, Carrie Bradshaw. While everyone is chattering about her role and the show, some of us can’t help but wonder if this “mini” Carrie will have the same impact on style as her predecessor did — what do you think?
