I have really tried to limit the amount of makeup — specifically eye makeup — I wear on average. But even on my barest of bare makeup days, Sue Devitt’s Electric Sheen Eyeshadow in Esna does the trick. It’s a beautiful shimmery ivory that doesn’t wash out my eyes but instead offers a nice light sheen that’s barely there but also perfectly noticeable. How is that? Well the light ivory has more of a soft buttery-yellow than white to it, so it’s not garishly white and really adds a little depth to my lids.

No matter how hard I’ve tried to make sure I scrub and clean my face at night, it’s a routine that just does not stick no matter how hard I try, so I decided to try to find a way to make this as simple as possible with just one step: the Simple Radiance Cleansing Wipes ($5.99). The wipes are a perfect blend of gentle cleanser and mango extract to help scrub and remove impurities for natural, clean-looking skin. One of the best parts about this brand is they pride themselves on being the “Sensitive Skin Experts,” so there is no need to worry about bad reactions. The wipes contain three ingredients: mango extract, glycerin and bisabolol. There is no alcohol, which means these won’t leave your skin dried out or irritated. Honestly, if you’re having a hard time getting into the habit or really cleansing your face before bed, pick these up and just wipe your face thoroughly and you will get rid of all that dirt. Added bonus: because the package is resealable, you can keep them in a nightstand and clean your face right in bed, for after those really long days or nights!

Nothing is better than going to a drugstore and finding awesome deals on beauty products, especially when it completely exceeds expectations. One of the most important pieces of makeup I own as a makeup artist and just ordinary woman is eye concealer. Applying this product correctly can take you from drab to fab instantly. I have stuck to the same designer concealer since I discovered it 7 years ago, but I got tired of the small bottle and big price, so I went on a search and discovered a drugstore hidden gem. The Neutrogena 3-in-1 Concealer for Eyes ($9.79) is a multi-tasking concealer that will instantly hide dark circles, reduce the look of puffiness and fine lines as well as help protect the sensitive eye area with SPF — just as well, if not better, than some high end products. Also, the ultra-blendable skin conditioning formula will not only moisturize your skin but it will also provide natural looking coverage that doesn’t accentuate lines or crows feet. This product comes in four different shades that are sure to blend and match all different skin tones.

I think the 80s have called and they want Elizabeth Banks’ ‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ premiere look back. Her neon yellow dress was accompanied by a bold orange lip color. The lip color is certainly a great color choice for those who like to attract a little (or a lot of) attention. To copy the look you might want to check out MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Neon Orange.

It seems that the holiday season has gotten off to a fast start this year, so it’s time to add a little seasonal sparkle to your mani. The Jin Soon Holiday Toppings Nail Polishes ($48) three color collection encompasses all aspects of popular nail trends, including metallic coloring, glitter and texture. You could wear the polish solo or throw it over one of your favorite polishes for a modern dual look. Each color has individual attributes that separate them slightly from one another. Gala is a golden color composed of an array of finely milled rose gold particles, Fete is a pinkish purple color that consists of multidimensional specs of glitter that will catch the light from all different angles, and Soiree (my favorite) is made up of a geometric mix of randomly sized and spaced silver “diamonds” mixed in with darker onyx pieces. Whether you want to try a darker or brighter shade this holiday season, be sure to try out these amazing new polishes.
