I go out of my way to use “green” products to clean my home, I buy organic fruits and vegetables, I recycle…so it stands to reason that using natural beauty products should be a priority for me as well. However, finding skincare products and cosmetics that work well without harsh chemicals or unnatural additives isn’t always easy. As a longtime fan of Neutrogena products (dating as far back as high school, in fact!), you can imagine how excited I was to try the new Neutrogena® Naturals collection.

The collection includes a full range of skincare products that contain no harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens, dyes or phthalates — in other words, none of the nasty stuff found in many beauty products. Instead, they contain naturally derived bionutrients that work with your skin’s natural functions to deliver safe and effective results. Even better, the products aren’t tested on animals, the packaging contains 50% post consumer recycled plastic, and the cartons are made from 100% recycled paper.

That all sounds fantastic, but the real question is, do the products work? I had the opportunity to test out several products from the collection including Neutrogena® Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser, Purifying Pore Scrub, Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover, Lip Balm, Face & Body Bar, Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Moisturizer, and Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Night Cream. Overall, I was thrilled with the full collection, but here are a few of my favorites:

Purifying Pore Scrub - A pore scrub is an essential part of my nightly skincare regimen. I am impressed with how gentle this scrub is and how clear and fresh my skin looks after using it.

Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Night Cream - I have extremely dry skin, so a night cream is a must for me. Many creams tend to be really thick, making my skin feel like it can’t breathe. This night cream, however, was lightweight , absorbing instantly while leaving skin moisturized and comfortable. I love that it’s packed with vitamins B, C, E and anti-oxidents, so I feel like it’s working hard while I sleep to make my skin look healthy.

Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover - With so many steps to my nightly skincare routine, I hate using a separate makeup remover. This combination cleanser/makeup remover works so well! Every trace of makeup is easily removed and my skin is left feeling soft, not stripped.

Face & Body Bar - This all-purpose cleansing bar has found a permanent home in my shower. Rich in avocado and olive oil bionutrients, it’s so soft and gentle, I’m comfortable using it on my young children’s sensitive skin.

The verdict after trying out the full collection? You can count me as a Neutrogena® Naturals convert!

I recently got my hair cut and highlighted, and the chick who does my hair did such a good job styling it that I was inspired. My hair dryer and fancy round brushes are getting all sorts of use these days and my hair has truly never looked better. But it’s not because of the styling tools, it’s because of one magical styling product, Davines Momo Moisturizing Anti Aging Daily Cream! This stuff is like a magical potion for my hair, between the heat styling and color treatment one would think my hair would be slowly getting drier and drier by the day. But Davines Momo Moisturizing Anti Aging Daily Cream keeps it soft, manageable and beautiful. I simply take a pea-sized amount and lightly apply it to my hair when I’m all done styling it. I pay extra attention to the ends and I can tell they appreciate it.

Davines Momo Moisturizing Anti Aging Daily Cream is available only at salons, click here to find one near you.
Jamie-Chung-Knife-Fight-Premiere.jpgActress Jamie Chung was all smiles at the premiere of Knife Fight at the Tribeca Film Festival last week. And we can see why—her bold red lip and chic black nails certainly stood out on the red carpet! But it’s her gorgeous sideswept curls that really have us talking.

We’re loving the deep side part and sleekness at the crown. The severeness really contrasts nicely with her tousled, just below the shoulder curls. This hairstyle is a great way to add a youthful spin to her otherwise grown-up look.
Givenchy-Hydra-Sparkling-Balm.jpgWe’re all about customized color—a color that’s truly ours, no matter what. So is it any wonder that Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip & Cheek Balm has completely stolen our hearts?

This innocent little tub is filled with a pink balm that magically gives lips and cheeks the prettiest flush. It’s formulated with pigments that react with the skin’s humidity to create a personalized hint of color! And not only that … Hyaluronic acid and Luffa oil moisturize and soften the skin.

But, really, we’re just completely enamored with the fact that the balm creates a different color and glow for us than it does for anyone else. And, really, what’s more special than that?

Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip & Cheek Balm retails for $31 at sephora.com.

There is a fine art to applying to eyeliner under the eye. If the line becomes too thick your look can go from classy to nasty really quick. Mila Kunis popped up with the best under eye liner job I’ve seen in recent months. To copy Mila’s look you’ll need a flat tip eyeliner makeup brush and a gel eyeliner. A super-sharpened eye pencil can do the trick, but it also can go on too thick really easily.
