Givenchy-Hydra-Sparkling-Balm.jpgWe’re all about customized color—a color that’s truly ours, no matter what. So is it any wonder that Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip & Cheek Balm has completely stolen our hearts?

This innocent little tub is filled with a pink balm that magically gives lips and cheeks the prettiest flush. It’s formulated with pigments that react with the skin’s humidity to create a personalized hint of color! And not only that … Hyaluronic acid and Luffa oil moisturize and soften the skin.

But, really, we’re just completely enamored with the fact that the balm creates a different color and glow for us than it does for anyone else. And, really, what’s more special than that?

There is a fine art to applying to eyeliner under the eye. If the line becomes too thick your look can go from classy to nasty really quick. Mila Kunis popped up with the best under eye liner job I’ve seen in recent months. To copy Mila’s look you’ll need a flat tip eyeliner makeup brush and a gel eyeliner. A super-sharpened eye pencil can do the trick, but it also can go on too thick really easily.
butter-LONDON-Trout-Pout.jpgWhile we normally shy away from cantaloupe if it’s not in a fruit salad, in the case of butter LONDON Trout Pout, we can’t help but fall immediately in love!

This nail polish is the perfect shade of creamy cantaloupe. It screams 50’s but with a modern feel, which is just so cool.

And here’s the best part—it looks equally good on fingers as it does on toes! We can’t wait to show it off all springtime long.

One of the things I love to do most with my extensive nail polish collection is layer the colors to make my own colors. There are times when my efforts have resulted in failure, some colors just don’t mix the way you thought they would. But sometimes they result in beautiful colors that are completely custom and really quite stunning. One of my most recent combinations was Essie Mambo and Essie Curtain Call for a beautiful bronzey-nude color.

I always start with a primer of some sort and then follow up with one coat of the base or primary color. In this case, my base was Mambo, a pretty nudish-tan. As long as you applied the base evenly, it’s time for the next coat, which is going to be your second layer. I usually opt for something shimmery or slightly sheer, as the point is to let the base layer show a little and to allow them to mix. I applied one even and slightly thin coat of Curtain Call right over the Mambo. Lastly I follow up with my go-to finishing touch Essie Good to Go top coat.

Jennifer-Morrison-Red-Hair.jpgThe always-blonde Jennifer Morrison made quite a big change last week—she dyed her hair a shade of dark, gorgeous red.

We are personally loving her new look. She’s gorgeous as a blonde, of course, but the new color really brings with it sophistication and drama. And since she also dyed her eyebrows to match, she shows a strong commitment to the color.

Jennifer went to certified Great Lengths stylists Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee of Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood to get the look for her new movie, Some Girls. Of the look, they said, “Since Jen is only planning on being a redhead for a month or so, we added in Great Lengths Extensions to help make the color look richer and more vibrant. She looks stunning!”
