Benefit-Posietint.jpgWhen someone tells us there’s a blush/eyeshadow/lipgloss/etc that works for everyone, we tend to roll our eyes. Everyone? Every skin tone? Really? But then we discovered Benefit Posietint.

This blush actually, really, honestly DOES work for every skin tone. It’s the prettiest shade of pink that adds a hint of color to your cheeks and lips (and even your eyes, if you’re so brave). We love the consistency, too—rather than being a weird powder that clings unflatteringly to the skin, this is an easy-to-use-and-blend liquid.

And, in case you’re worried about going overboard, a little goes a long way. Three tiny flicks of the brush upon the cheekbones and a quick bit of blending and you’re good to go! Your cheeks are guaranteed to look like you’ve just come in from the cold and have a gorgeous, rosy glow. What could be better?

Benefit Posietint retails for $29 at sephora.com.
beth-behrs-04182012.jpg
‘2 Broke Girls’ star Beth Behrs hit the red carpet with the perfect smokey eye look recently and the credit all goes to makeup artist Jamie Greenberg and mark cosmetics. Her use of an indigo blue eyeliner softened the look up just enough for the perfect spring style.

She started by applying mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Latte to the crease of Beth’s eye. Following with mark Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Surreal to Beth’s top and bottom lash lines. Lastly she applied mark No Place To Run Longwear Eyeliner to Beth’s inside water rim and smudged the same liner in Indigo Girl underneath her lash line for a gorgeous hint of blue that really brought out her eyes. The look was finished off with two coats of mark Scanda-Lash Hook Up Mascara.

China-Glaze-Luxe-And-Lush.jpgWant to give your nails a gorgeous, super luxe finishing touch? Then China Glaze Luxe and Lush Nail Polish is your saving grace.

This nail polish is part of the brand’s Colours from the Capitol collection, which was inspired by The Hunger Games. Luxe and Lush is meant to represent District 1, which is responsible for providing luxury goods to the Capitol.

We can honestly say we’ve never seen another shade like this one! We love using it as a topcoat, because the various sizes of glittering, gleaming particles make such a unique impression upon other colors. Because of the different sizes of the glitter, every nail will be completely different. And, for being a glitter polish, it’s actually surprisingly easy to remove!

China Glaze Luxe and Lush Nail Polish retails for $5.99 at sallybeauty.com.

Nicki-Minaj-Pink-Friday-Reloaded.jpgCount on Nicki Minaj to sport the coolest nails we’ve seen in quite awhile! At her CD signing for “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” in Philadelphia recently, every nail was completely different—and completely cool. Her super-long nails were filed into a sharp and pointy oblong shape, which we don’t necessarily recommend trying at home if you have to type, play piano, etc—but for Nicki, they totally work.

Nicki-Minaj-Pink-Friday-Reloaded-Nails-Closeup.jpgWe love that each nail is different but works within the whole. The color scheme of pale pinks and blues swirl together into such an intricate look upon each nail.

Sally-Hansen-Salon-Effects-Kitty-Kitty.jpgIf you want to try this at home but aren’t too great at doing nail art, never fear! Try Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips ($9 each at drugstore.com). They’re a cinch to apply and come in over 20 different designs!
