We’ll come right out and say it—we’re obsessed with skincare. Facials, peels, moisturizers, serums … we can’t get enough of the whole shebang. But there are five products that really stand out in the crowd and give you totally flawless skin. We’re letting you in on the secret.
This past summer Vanessa Hudgens debuted a pixie cut that has now grown into the perfect fall California bob. It’s a “California bob” because it has a beachy, piecey look to it, yet it’s dark and thick and perfectly styled for the fall. The trick to piecey, short hairstyles like this is to have thicker hair, and to retire your combs and brushes. Use a texturizing cream or pomade and lightly tousle hair with your fingers to separate strands. Don’t get too messy with it, but keep in mind that this look is not about being polished.
We’ve long been fans of JoJo. The girl’s got a powerhouse voice, is super smart and is gorgeous to boot. And at the 9th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party last week, she looked absolutely stunning!
I’m a sucker for great nail colors, but sometimes that perfect shade needs a little tweak. I’m notorious for layering colors to create my own and then I found Essie’s Matte About You. This brilliant top coat takes any nail color you’ve got and transforms it to a smooth matte finish without thinning color. I have a shiny metallic silver nail polish (Essie’s Steel-ing the Scene) that I love to put this over to remove the shine and make a wonderful flat grey.
