This season is all about the red lip. Whether you go for a bright siren red as seen on the Michael Kors (above), Marc Jacobs and Victoria Beckham runways, or a gothic, vampy red as seen at Bottega Veneta and Viktor & Rolf, there’s a flattering red hue for virtually any skin tone. Show off your classic red pout by making it the focus of your face, leaving your eyes neutral and your skin fresh. Here are some red lipsticks to help you get the look:

I am a sucker for creatively packaged makeup. Some of my fave blushes and bronzers are the ones that come in great mosaic-style color patterns — best of all, all the colors always swirl perfectly to create the perfect shade. As soon as I saw the Dior Fall Look Jungle Palette my interest was piqued. Usually I’m very particular about applying one shadow at a time, but these blended shades look perfectly coordinated and I bet they swirl together to create the perfect bronzed eye look. Keep in mind that bronzed lids are a great transition to fall’s deeper smoky eye looks. As a bonus, the palette also packs a shimmery nude gloss in the palette so your lips don’t miss out on the fun.

Beach-Inspired-Beauty-Products.jpgAs summer winds down, we’re taking advantage of every possible minute to be outside … preferably at the beach. But for those minutes and hours when we’re stuck in an office, these beach-inspired products really make us feel like we’re sipping Mai Tais in a bikini, watching the waves crash on the shore.

Bath & Body Works Forever Sunshine Body Lotion
It’s impossible not to smile at a product with a name like this! It’s even better that the notes of golden apricot, pink peonies and praline are intoxicatingly sweet.

The ombre hairstyle has been big for a while, and I’ve seen probably every iteration imaginable. But, I have to say that Lea Michele’s rendition is probably one of my all time faves. Her deep dark roots slowly shift down to beautiful golden caramel ends and the entire effect just looks amazing on her. If you’ve been debating the ombre, I suggest you consider requesting this specific combo at the hair salon this fall.
Metallic-Eyeshadow-Summer-2012-Beauty-Trends-Runway.jpgWant to know how to look beautiful and totally on trend this summer? Over the next few weeks, we’ll be bringing you the beauty trends you need to know about and incorporate into your routine, stat—and the products that will give you the looks in a flash.

Up this week: metallic eyeshadow! Another eye trend we normally see in colder months, this one is really taking wing with warmer temperatures. But it’s not just your standard sweep of the eyeshadow brush across your lid this season. Instead, think bold takes on gold and silver, like the gold leaf seen at Fendi or the banana-like shape above the lid at 3.1 Phillip Lim. Below, our favorite shadows!

Dior Couleur Ultra Smooth High Impact Eyeshadow in Chrome
An almost graphite-like silver with tons of shimmer, this one can double as a bold eyeliner with the right slanted brush.
