The one lip trend that seems to be sweeping the red carpet as of late? Glossy nude lips. From Hollywood starlets to some of the biggest supermodels of all time, the glossy nude lip transcends.

Celebrities-Nude-Glossy-Lips-Pic-1.jpgAt The Late Show With David Letterman, Twilight’s Nikki Reed rocked a nude lip with long, wavy tresses. Amy Adams also sported wavy locks at the premiere of The Muppets, along with a champagne-hued shimmery pout.

Celebrities-Nude-Glossy-Lips-Pic-2.jpgNow, if there are two more beautiful women than Cindy Crawford and Elle Macpherson, we haven’t found them. And both supermodels are definitely loving nude glossy lips right now. Elle kept the rest of her makeup simple, while Cindy went for a kohl-rimmed eye. Both looks are gorgeous and sexy ways to rock a nude lip.

lancome-golden-hat-powder.jpgKate Winslet’s Golden Hat Foundation has teamed up with Lancôme to create a truly beautiful limited edition holiday offering. The line features a shimmery face powder (Poudre Lumière), a stunning, bright red lipstick (L’Absolu Rouge Lipcolor) and petite-sized nail polishes (Mini Le Vernis) in pink and red. I’m sure these products are going to be a smashing success, and I have to admit I’m totally smitten with the golden fedora (the symbol of the Golden Hat Foundation) emblem on the Poudre Lumière. According to their Facebook page, “The Golden Hat Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating barriers for people with autism around the world, and creating an environment that holds these individuals as intellectually capable.” I commend Kate Winslet on her passionate service to the autistic community!

The Poudre Lumière is available for $42 from Find out more about the Golden Hat Foundation by visiting their website.

Now that Spring 2012 Fashion Week has come to a close, of course it’s time for us to do a roundup of our favorite beauty trends! And while we’ve still got some time until we really see these trends coming at us full force—we’re just heading into fall, after all—we’re definitely excited about what’s in store.

Red-Lips-Spring-2012-Fashion-Week.jpgRed Lips
While we typically think of red lips as something for fall, we were definitely excited to see this emerging as a strong trend for spring. Designers including Anna Sui and Jason Wu showed super dark crimson pouts with their collections.

Low-Ponytails-Spring-2012-Fashion-Week.jpgLow Ponytails
When temperatures heat up, our hair goes up. It’s as simple as that. But we’re loving the lower ponytail shown on the runway by multiple designers, including Derek Lam and Reed Krakoff.

Colored-Hair-Spring-2012-Fashion-Week.jpgRainbow Hued Hair
Since celebs like Lauren Conrad have been experimenting with shocking hair colors, it was only a matter of time before it showed up on the runway! We’re loving the bright sherbet hues seen at Narciso Rodriguez and Thakoon.

Pale-Lips-Spring-2012-Fashion-Week.jpgPale Lips
On the other end of the lip spectrum were pouts that were glossy and just a shade darker than the natural color of the lip. We love the neutral lips seen at Carolina Herrera and Rodarte.

Grey-Nails-Spring-2012-Fashion-Week.jpgGrey Nails
The biggest nail trend of Fashion Week was actually that anything goes! But we did see a lot of pale grey nails, namely at Rag & Bone and Narciso Rodriguez. This shade goes with everything and is a statement maker without going over the top.

NY Fashion Week is upon us! We’re loving some of the beauty looks that have been featured this week. First up is the hair that Didier Malige for Frederic Fekkai created for Prabal Gurung.

Malige created a bold and sexy ’90s-inspired look that perfectly complemented Gurung’s neo feminist collection. The confident and sporty look was both feminine and tough, with models looking like they just splashed water on their faces after a workout.

Want to get the look? Begin by blowdrying your hair straight and use a flat iron if necessary. Then mist water throughout the top half of your head before applying Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse to wet hair for extra hold. Create a center part with a fine comb and comb mousse through the hair for a slicked-back look. Get additional shine with Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing Sheer Shine Mist, use the low setting on a blowdryer to set the look, and then leave the bottom portion of the hair dry. Finish by spraying with Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hairspray.
