First-Aid-Beauty-Ultra-Repair-Lip-Therapy.jpgWhen the going gets rough, the rough lips get rougher and more chapped. Or so we thought until First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy came along.

Within this unassuming little tube lies one of the best lip balms we’ve tried in quite some time. For starters, the tiniest amount imaginable—really, about the size of a pinprick—is all that’s needed to completely coat the lips in balm bliss.

And what’s in this magical balm, you may ask? The petroleum-free formula is chock full of glycerin, shea butter and an antioxidant booster to really nourish and protect your pout.

We also love that the formula is both scent- and flavor-free, so we really just get the benefits of the balm without any weird added aromas or tastes.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy retails for $12 at firstaidbeauty.com.
eos-ultra-moisturizing-shave-cream.jpg
I’ve already professed my preference for a certain men’s razor (read why I use the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Shaving Razor, here), but when it comes to my shaving cream, I stick with the feminine variety. I’ve used so many shaving gels and creams over the years that I had lost track and gotten bored, and then I found eos Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream. First of all, the plastic packaging means I won’t have any more rusted can marks in my shower (and yes it’s recyclable). Second, it comes in a great Vanilla Bliss scent, as well as several others. Third, and probably most important, its thin lotion-like consistency actually allows for better control with my razor and yet my shave has never produced smoother skin.

You can find eos Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream for $3.49 at Target.com.
clean-and-clear-blackhead-eraser-scrub.jpg
Blackheads don’t discriminate, even girls with dry skin like me, get them. And believe me they’re no easier to get rid of when you have dry skin. The trick is to treating them, usually with a product made specifically to get rid of them. So what’s my go-to, you ask? A brand whose name is to the point, Clean and Clear, and whose product is spot on, Blackhead Eraser Scrub.

It has the perfect little micro-beads for a deep clean and exfoliation, as well as salicylic acid to help with clearing the actual blackheads. Since my nose is my blackhead spot, I use this a couple times a week to help keep it free of blemishes and clean — It’s safe for everyday use for those who want to dig down deep daily.

Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser Scrub is available for $4.39 at drugstore.com
It’s rare that we find an eye cream so amazing we buy it in bulk. But such is the case with Lancome Genifique Eye.

This eye cream is rich, lush and full of moisture and nourishment for the under-eye area. Part of Lancome’s Genifique line, it works to stimulate the production of youth proteins.

Lancome-Genifique-Eye.jpgWhat does this mean? Well, in a matter of days, your under-eye area will look more youthful, more refreshed, more rejuvenated … in short, people may start thinking you’re a lot younger than you actually are! (And what woman doesn’t want to look younger, right?)

We love the eye cream’s smooth, velvety texture and the fact that it sinks into skin immediately without leaving behind any greasy residue. It also doesn’t irritate the eyes like some other eye creams, so you won’t find them becoming red or itchy throughout the day. We like to apply it before our morning moisturizer so we look hydrated and refreshed all day long.

And hey, if people want to think we’re in our 20s for quite some time? We’re not complaining.

Lancome Genifique Eye retails for $59 at lancome.com.
