Kiehl's-Creme-De-Corps-Jeff-Koons.jpgIf you’re like us, you love Kiehl’s. Not only are the products from this brand among the best out there, but Kiehl’s is constantly partnering with various organizations to do good for the world. And this holiday season is no different, as Kiehl’s is partnering with American contemporary artist Jeff Koons for its 3rd Annual Limited Edition Creme de Corps Holiday Collection.

Now, here’s the best part. Kiehl’s will donate 100 percent of the worldwide net profits of this collection (up to $200,000) to the Koons Family Institute on International Law and Policy. This is an initiative of the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC), which combats child sexual exploitation and abduction.

This collection contains the classic body moisturizer ($29-$72) and a new offering for the holiday season, Limited Edition Jeff Koons Bottle Art ($50), a scaled reference to his iconic Balloon Flower sculpture that adorns the Creme de Corps bottle top. The products from this collection are all available at kiehls.com.

And, as a special addition to all the good that Kiehl’s does, they’re inviting you to visit kiehls.com/shareyourhopes through December 26. In 150 words or less, you can share your holiday hope with the Kiehl’s community. One hope a week will be chosen, with the winner receiving a Limited Edition Creme de Corps. Pretty fantastic, right?
Lather-Toning-Eye-Gel-With-Vitamin-K.jpgPuffiness. Dark circles. Wrinkles. Lines. An overall tired appearance. What a nuisance all these issues with our eyes can be, right? Well, kiss those problems goodbye, because Lather Toning Eye Gel with Vitamin K has come to the rescue.

While we’re normally used to using a cream rather than a gel on our under-eye area, this product comes as a welcome surprise. The gel is cooling and refreshing, which is fantastic no matter when we use it! It’s a rejuvenating start to our morning and a calming end to our evening.

And if you’re worried about loss of elasticity and firmness? Well, thanks to niacin and Vitamin K, this gel saves your eyes in a flash. We also love that it’s formulated with extracts of aloe and green tea, which work to soothe and calm red and inflamed skin.

In a nutshell? If you’re looking for a substitute to your everyday eye creams and masks, this gel is the perfect solution.

Lather Toning Eye Gel with Vitamin K retails for $28 at lather.com.

Gold Bond is one of those brands that has been around forever, you probably even have one of their products in your medicine cabinet. Though their products undoubtedly work well, they don’t exactly have a glamorous image — until now, that is. The new Gold Bond Ultimate Sheer Ribbons body lotions are decidedly more high-end, luxurious, and shall we say, feminine.

Available in two formulas, these premium lotions are not your everyday lotions, they contain 7 hydrating moisturizers that replenish skin. The Natural Silk formula features natural silk proteins to enhance all-over smoothness and the Pearl Radiance formula contains natural pearl extracts that subtly reflect light. Both are lightly fragranced and come in a unique bottle that dispenses ribbons of lotion with the touch of the button, so there’s no mess.

I gave both formulas a try and was really impressed by how silky they left my skin, without a hint of greasiness that many moisturizers can leave. They work on even the dryest patches of skin and have a really nice scent that isn’t at all overpowering. I love the unique dispenser and the generous size of the bottle.

There wasn’t any discernible difference between the two formulas with respect to how well they moisturize skin, but if I had to choose one, I would select the Pearl Radiance formula for its subtle sheen and slightly more preferable fragrance.

Gold Bond Ultimate Sheer Ribbons body lotions are definitely worth a try, and at under $9 each, they’re incredibly affordable. Even better, you can download a $1 off coupon from their website. Check out goldbondultimate.com for more information on these and other Gold Bond Ultimate products.

And even more exciting? We’re giving away a year’s supply of both formulas to one lucky winner! To enter, “Like” us on Facebook and leave a comment on our Facebook wall, “I want to try Gold Bond Ultimate Sheer Ribbons Body!” (U.S. residents only please.)

Kate-Somerville-Clinic-To-Go-Resurfacing-Peel-Pads.jpgWell, if you ask us, peels aren’t usually very fun. If anything, they leave our skin red and raw for days. Not so, however, with Kate Somerville Clinic-To-Go Resurfacing Peel Pads.

This is definitely one of the more fun skincare products we’ve tried recently. Unwrap one from the package and you’ll see a mitt that you actually slip your hand into before gliding it across your skin! We’ve never seen another product like it, without a doubt.

But here’s the best part. These pads make your skin GLOW. A combination of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (more commonly known as AHAs), lactic acid, and both myrtle and safe leaf extracts work to diminish the appearance of pores, brighten, exfoliate, soften, calm and soothe the skin. And while they’re meant to do this within 28 days, we saw results in just one week!

In addition, they smell fresh, clean and totally divine. They make our skin tingle delightfully while we use them, and then it just feels so rejuvenated and refreshed afterward. And really, what more could one ask for?

Kate Somerville Clinic-To-Go Resurfacing Peel Pads are $48 for a package of 16 at cusp.com.
