Lather-Spearmint-Tea-Tree-Lip-Protector-SPF-15.jpgWe’re constantly trying new lip balms. Scented, flavored, pot, stick, it doesn’t matter — we never have less than 10 in our rotating arsenal. But, recently, one has definitely surfaced above the rest — Lather Spearmint & Tea Tree Lip Protector SPF 15.

This paraben-free, protective lip balm is formulated with tons of good-for-the-lips ingredients that help to keep them soft and smooth. Ingredients like royal jelly, B-vitamins and pure beeswax ensure that lips stay nourished and hydrated — and, thankfully, chap-free.

We love the scent and taste of this balm, too. The spearmint and tea tree oils within make it refreshing, cooling and just a touch zesty — and they just make it feel so luxurious.

Truth be told, our lips haven’t felt this good in weeks. And we hardly ever need to reapply!

Fresh-Creme-Ancienne-Eye-Cream.jpgWe normally like our eye creams on the thick, creamy side. So when we first unscrewed the top of Fresh Creme Ancienne Eye Cream and saw a consistency much like pure shea butter, we must admit we were both intrigued and petrified. Would this eye cream really work if it were so unlike the ones we’d come to know and love?

In a word, yes.

In a mere matter of weeks, the area around our eyes was noticeably lighter and had decreased in puffiness significantly. Our under-eye area feels so hydrated, thanks to ingredients like meadowfoam seed oil (to nourish the skin), jojoba seed oil (to restore suppleness) and moisturizing Vitamin E. You’ll even find anti-inflammatory-enhancing beeswax, soothing chamomile oil, toning lemon peel oil and calming rosewater within the formula.

But what we really love about it? The inspiration behind this luxurious eye cream! The first cream of the 2nd century A.D. inspired the creators of Fresh to come up with it. It’s hand-blended in a European monastery to preserve the fragile ingredients and its rich history. How cool is that?

We will caution you that Creme Ancienne doesn’t come cheap … it retails for $95. But if you’re looking to hydrate the under-eye area like never before, this is the eye cream that can’t be beat!

Yes-To-Tomatoes-Deep-Cleansing-Facial-Pads.jpgRemember when we talked about First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads last week? Well, we simply had to continue down the cleansing pads road … which is why, today, we’re bringing you a review of Yes to Tomatoes Deep Cleansing Facial Pads.

Truth be told, we couldn’t have started using these cleansing pads at a better time. Our skin has been extremely temperamental as of late, with flareups occurring more than they did in our teenage years. (Trust us, we’re less than thrilled with this turn of events.) In any case, the fact that these cleansing pads are formulated with salicylic acid definitely seemed like a blessing in disguise.

So we started using these pads every night before bed (and sometimes twice a day, if we were good and went to the gym). At first, we didn’t notice anything happening to the unsightly bumps, blemishes and red patches on our face. But, after about a week, we definitely started seeing a noticeable difference in our skin.

The blemishes were disappearing right before our eyes! What had been bright red pimples were now on their last legs. Our skin even felt softer and smoother than it had in weeks, finally returning to the baby-soft quality it usually sports.

Now, these pads do have a medicinal scent, thanks to the salicylic acid. But if you can get past that, they are most definitely worth investing in! Your skin will be clearer than ever before.

Yes to Tomatoes Deep Cleansing Facial Pads are $7.99 for a pack of 50 at
