Fall and spring are the times of year when I change up my signature scent. In fall I prefer a more warm, vanilla, bakery scent, whereas in spring I prefer a more light, coconut-ty, beachy scent; but regardless of the season I always layer on a little sugar. Pink Sugar to be exact. This cotton candyish scent is alluring and amazingly addictive. I layer it with just about any body spray and am always amazed at how it transforms my mood and those around me. And one of the things I adore most about it is how distinctive it is — people always notice it and I can always tell when someone else is wearing it!

DKNY Be Delicious isn’t a new fragrance. But once in awhile, an old standby is definitely worth talking about … and this is one of our very favorite scents.

We’re enamored of the bottle shape—doesn’t it look just like a crisp, delicious apple? It reminds us of the apple the Wicked Witch makes Snow White take a bite out of.

And the scent, oh, the scent! While we don’t always love fruity fragrances, we love the notes of this one. The aforementioned apple combines with cucumber, grapefruit, candid magnolia, tuberose, white muguet, rose, violet, sandalwood, tender skin accord, blonde woods and white amber to create a scent that’s alluring, sexy, sensual and feminine all at once.

Like any recovering Carrie addict, I have a slight obsession with Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo shoes. However, my bank account has conveniently stood in the way of me owning anything from the iconic brands, that is, until now. Jimmy Choo has entered the scent business with a perfume that has notes of Green, Tiger Orchid, Toffee and Sensual Indonesian Patchouli. The fragrance is described as feminine, luxurious and stylish, adjectives that I think describe the alluring bottle as well — I can totally picture it sitting pretty on my dresser!

We love the smell of fresh laundry, and Warm Cotton smells exactly like clothes coming out of the dryer. It’s incredibly soothing and refreshing thanks to notes of citrus, watery green pear, verbena, floral essences, fruit essences, marine essences, jasmine, orange flower, musk, fougere and amber.

This is definitely one of the most unique fragrances we’ve come across. It’s equally as perfect on the skin or as a room refresher—a few spritzes and you’ll feel as if summer is in the room. If only it were this easy to do the laundry.
