I am a grown adult, I promise, but I never quite outgrew my fascination with Bath and Body Works’ fragrance mists — Specifically their limited edition Vanilla Bean Noel scent. But seeing as how that scent is only available for several months I’m left to come up with alternatives the rest of the year. I have an allergy to floral scents and I think there’s something yummy about smelling like a bakery … so I tend to go for vanilla scents in general. So imagine my excitement when B&BW came out with a Cozy Autumn Vanilla. It smells like a spicy, caramel version of their classic Warm Vanilla Sugar and I adore it already.

Cozy Autumn Vanilla Fragrance Mist, Shower Gel, Body Lotion and more are all available on BathandBodyWorks.com.

We recently had the displeasure of smelling Jennifer Aniston’s signature scent while shopping with a friend. You know those mini aerosol can fragrances they sell at K-Mart? Just saying.

marc-curacao-smh.jpgI spent a good fifteen minutes in Sephora over the weekend debating which limited edition Marc Jacobs splash to purchase. Here are my highly-scientific findings:

1. Ginger smelled nice initially, but was somewhat chemically after a few whiffs.
2. Curacao is fab. Really, really fab.
3. Cranberry is also nice and its top note is actually pink grapefruit.

stellasheer11_smh.jpgSigh. Another summer, another Stella Sheer. This one is even better than last year’s in my opinion — closer to Stella McCartney’s signature scent, Stella, with a splash of citrus courtesy of lemon and apple notes layered on my fave (and apparently Stella’s as well) scent: peony.

3.3 oz. Stella Sheer, $62 at sephora.com

justinbiebersomeday_smh.jpgIn another semi-shameless way to take his fans’ allowance money (see his OPI nail polish line) Justin Bieber has created a fragrance called Someday — as in, ‘If you buy and wear this perfume, someday maybe Justin will be with you… but probably not.’

I’m only kidding; if anyone is a self-admitted Belieber, it’s me. All the proceeds from Someday are actually being donated to charity (although the website does caveat it with “Donations to charity are after taxes, expenses and company requirements), so back off the Biebs, maybe.

And this move isn’t totally unexpected. Justin already dabbled in the fragrance world with his scented dog tags. Remember those? What, you’re not fourteen, so no? Fair enough.

Justin’s signature scent, not his own obviously, is said to be more than a fragrance: “It’s energy with a state-of-mind that inspires. It is a personal gift straight from his heart, giving fans a chance to get one step closer to Justin. It’s a fragrance he can’t get enough of and can’t stay away from, making those who wear it irresistible.”

Okay, first question. Does this mean Selena Gomez wears Someday because that would mean she can’t release a perfume of her own until they break up, right?

Second, I hate to be a hater… okay, I don’t really, but I can’t help but notice the striking similarity of the perfume bottle’s plastic rose cap to Marc Jacobs’ Lola. Seriously, I can’t believe no one caught that. The cap is actually made up of hearts, not rose petals, but from the side, it looks almost identical to the Lola cap. It also should have been purple (Justin’s signature color) instead of pink to avoid comparisons to less-than-innocent imagery. Yeah, I said it.

The fragrances top notes include: mandarin, pear, wild berries, jasmine, floral and musk.
