For the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Carrie Underwood hit the red carpet with amped up, amazing hair. All credit for the beautiful ‘do goes to Celebrity Stylist Melissa Schleicher and Oribe hair care products.

Melissa started by prepping Carrie’s hair with Oribe Hair Care Supershine and placing it in hot rollers. After removing the rollers, she used Oribe Hair Care Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray and then added additional body by using a 1.5” curling iron. When the desired volume had been achieved she pinned hair in a soft twist on one side in the back to keep curls cascading over one shoulder. She finished off Carrie’s look with Oribe Hair Care Superfine Strong Hairspray.

I’m always up for trying a new shampoo and conditioner, so when I saw John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner I was ready to give it a try. I’ve been growing my hair out and it’s gotten pretty long — but during the process I noticed the ends were looking dry and the length was weighing my baby fine locks down. This is where John Frieda’s latest formula is genius! It coats my hair in conditioners that perfectly soften my strands and help to minimize damage, all the while not adding any additional weight. And  my hair has never looked better, if I do say so myself.

Pantene-Ice-Shine-Shampoo-Conditioner.jpgIf you want to get super shiny hair, we’ve got a great duo for you. You simply have to check out Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Shampoo and Conditioner.

Your hair will be shiny, lustrous and amazingly manageable after just one use. We love how much lather is created with the shampoo, while the conditioner is rich and thick and coats each strand unbelievably well.

We were happy to find that while we usually have to shampoo our hair twice, this shampoo is so rich it only needs to be done once! We haven’t found a shampoo that does this in quite some time.

So if you want your hair to shine with the best of them, be sure to try this shampoo and conditioner. Why not get a little icy?

Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Shampoo and Conditioner are $6.99 each at

reese-witherspoon-hair-golden-globes-0182012.jpgOften at red carpet events you see a lot of fancy, swept up, twists and buns. So I was super surprised to see Reese Witherspoon’s hair down and flowing loose at the Golden Globes the other night. And leave it to Los Angeles to remind us that Spring and Summer are creeping up on us and soon we’ll all want tousled, wavy locks.

Frederic Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel was the mastermind behind the stunning ‘do. Adir started by using Fekkai COIFF™ Océanique Tousled Wave Spray throughout Reese’s dry hair. He then used a small amount of Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream, applying it to the ends of her hair to create a moisturizing seal. Next he used a medium round brush and blow-dried the hair to create volume. Using slight tension to create loose waves, he then wrapped the hair around a one inch curling iron. This process was repeated step by step around her entire head. Lastly, Adir took the hair at the crown of the head, and pulled it back for a Bardo-style bump. He finished the look with Fekkai COIFF™ Sheer Hold Hairspray for hold and Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Sheer Shine Mist for shine.
