Last week we confessed our love for Target’s beauty department, in particular, its indie beauty brands like Sonia Kashuk, Jemma Kidd, Petra Strand (Pixi) and Napoleon Perdis. We also told you about our little shopping spree where we picked up some beauty must-haves to test out.

This oil free water based primer is a must for your daily makeup application. It helps to even out your skin tone and creates a dewy, smooth surface on which to apply foundation and blush. It can even be worn alone for light coverage. We really love the luxurious, silky feel of the product and the smoothing effect it has on skin.

3. Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel

If you’ve only ever used a powder blush, you will be quickly won over by this sheer cheek gel. With an incredible gel-like texture, this cheek stain literally melts right into skin for a natural looking flush without the dry, powdery look of most blushes.
