You’re probably well-aware, but tinted moisturizers can be your BFF, especially during the sunnier seasons. They’re a great lightweight, everyday alternative to foundation. But most importantly, they’re one of the most reliable way to protect your skin from UV Rays. Because let’s face it (pun intended), applying both sun block and some sort of color daily can be a chore, and very easy to forget.

Protect your face with five of the most popular tinted moisturizers.

Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15,  $34 Sephora

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer — Oil Free, $42 Sephora

Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer, $38 Sephora

*Cost-effective!* Boots No7 Soft and Sheer Tinted Moisturizer,  $11.99 Target

Sephora Collection Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer SPF20, $21 Sephora

Because most tinted-moisturizers range anywhere between 10 - 30 SPF, if you’re planning on being under sunlight for an extended amount of time (think, sun bathing) we recommend using a higher SPF lotion instead.

The weather’s warming up and you know what that means: pedicure time! Can’t decide between that pastel pink and shocking fuchsia? Now you don’t have to.

Pastel neon polishes generally are a creamier, muted version of their shocking counterparts, but deliver just as much of a punch (you can see for yourself below)…and the possibilities are endless: you can wear them alone, try a pastel neon on your fingers and it’s brighter twin on your toes, or create a new take on the french mani with pastel nails and neon tips.

You may recall our recent post on Butter London’s new plum-colored polish ‘Marrow’. That was just a tease: there’s much more purple to go around — and we’re not just talking nails!  Lipsticks, shadows, liners and even mascaras are hot this spring, in many different shades o’ purple. Get your purple fix with some of our favorites:
