Emma-Stone-Jennifer-Behr-Headband.jpgWe’re fairly certain Emma Stone can do no wrong on the red carpet. She just keeps knocking it out of the park! And she hit yet another home run at the premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man in Moscow over the weekend, thanks to this gorgeous headband by cult favorite Jennifer Behr.

While Jennifer Behr headbands aren’t cheap—this one retails for $298—they are exquisite. The Delicate Laurel Leaf Bandeau, seen on Emma here, is crafted of gold-tone metal that’s hand-soldered into tiny leaves, creating an ancient Grecian halo effect.

If you can’t stomach spending $300 on a headband, though, here are a few inspired options that won’t break the bank!

It’s simple to add a polished twist to a simple hairdo with a black ribbon or skinny headband. For the ‘Rock of Ages’ UK Premiere, Julianne Hough’s hair looks simply sophisticated and the credit went to her choice of accessory. With her light blonde locks teased up and pulled back in a messy chignon, it was the bold black headband that truly set off her look.

For the MTV Movie Awards, Elizabeth Banks opted for a fun take on the traditional bun and went with a twist. You have to have really thick and long locks, or extensions, to pull this look off. You start by pulling hair into a really high ponytail at the crown of the head and then twist it around itself and into itself to finish it off. With a bun you would twist hair tight and loop it around like a coiled snake, where this look is about tucking the ends in to create a poof effect. Using hairspray when you’re finished will help loose strands stay put and help the pulled back hairs stay smooth.

The red carpet took a turn towards the dark side when Kristen Stewart walked it this past week. Between her mostly black ensemble and smokey eye makeup she looked more like an evil queen than innocent princess. And I have to say I likey! Best of all she paired the intense eyes with nude lips and a barely-there wash of color on her cheeks

I’ve been growing my hair out for a while now, but then I see a pic of a celeb, like Cameron Diaz, with a hot cropped ‘do, and I just drool. For the What to Expect When You’re Expecting premiere, the incomparable Ms. Diaz stepped out with her hair in a soft and sleek bob with sideswept bangs. This is definitely one hot style for when the temperatures rise. I’m not sure I’m ready to cut my hair yet, but one of these days I’ll stop longing for shorter locks and go for it.
