Scarlett Johansson
complemented her deep navy dress with a deep blue nail color for a recent engagement. Her overall style was very simple, very classic, while her nails showed her fashion-forward thinking. A stunning blue nail color can really pull off a basic evening ensemble and even add a little sass to your everyday looks as well.

To copy Scarlett’s blue digits, I suggest checking out OPI’s Yoga-ta Get This Blue, Essie Bobbing for Baubles or Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Navy Baby.
For several years now, Reese Witherspoon has dabbled in long layers and sweeping bangs. These shorter, fringe-like bangs make her look younger, while her beautiful blonde color adds a nice glow to her face. If you’re up for the styling challenge and the commitment (growing them out can be a test of patience), thicker, shorter bangs can really make you look several years younger and more vibrant.
Kat Graham is a regular on the ‘Vampire Diaries’ and on the red carpet! On the red carpet her looks are often bold and daring. And I have to give this girl props for always being willing to let her mouth do the talking for her style statements. She’s recently braved hot pink, magenta and now this deep purple lip color. If you try to copy this look keep in mind that a deep purple like this can make you go from stunning to corpse-like in a flash. Make sure the hue doesn’t have too much blue in it for your skin tone.
reese-witherspoon-hair-golden-globes-0182012.jpgOften at red carpet events you see a lot of fancy, swept up, twists and buns. So I was super surprised to see Reese Witherspoon’s hair down and flowing loose at the Golden Globes the other night. And leave it to Los Angeles to remind us that Spring and Summer are creeping up on us and soon we’ll all want tousled, wavy locks.

Frederic Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel was the mastermind behind the stunning ‘do. Adir started by using Fekkai COIFF™ Océanique Tousled Wave Spray throughout Reese’s dry hair. He then used a small amount of Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream, applying it to the ends of her hair to create a moisturizing seal. Next he used a medium round brush and blow-dried the hair to create volume. Using slight tension to create loose waves, he then wrapped the hair around a one inch curling iron. This process was repeated step by step around her entire head. Lastly, Adir took the hair at the crown of the head, and pulled it back for a Bardo-style bump. He finished the look with Fekkai COIFF™ Sheer Hold Hairspray for hold and Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Sheer Shine Mist for shine.
Laura Prepon took to the red carpet in support of her new TV show, Are You There, Chelsea with mesmerizing eye makeup. The look was created by applying a black liner that went from thick to thin as it worked from her outer eye inward. The deep liner was contrasted with lighter shimmery shades on her lower lid and crease. The effect was a more modern, simple cat eye look that made Laura’s beautiful, light eyes the center of attention. Best of all, unlike some red carpet looks, this one is totally day time and real world appropriate. Start practicing with your favorite liner today, I suggest a gel eye liner with a thin eyeliner brush for the best control.
