jenamalone_smh.jpgWatercolor is shaping up to be a big trend this spring in fashion and home decor. We really dug the watercolor-print Juan Carlos Obando dress Jena Malone wore to the London ‘Sucker Punch’ premiere and we also loved that she (or, her makeup artist) mirrored the dress’ print on Jena’s lids as well. Along with the ultraviolet blush and lipstick, it is such a pretty look.

That’s not shimmering shadow though, friends. That’s a liner within a liner on top of shadow. We recommend Benefit’s High Brow if you’re going for a similar look. And, just to be perfectly clear here, we are recommending you go for a similar look.

We hate writing posts like this, but what’s going on with Esmee Denters’ hair? Her signature straight bangs and wavy layers are being subjected to fake shades of blonde and crimping! She needs to go back to her old look (far right), which was subtly sexy and much prettier.

We recommend Esmee get a bottle of this No Frizz styling cream, and quick.

Watch her Love Dealer video with Justin Timberlake below for a look back at her once-lovely locks and flawless natural makeup including stunning eyelashes. What do you think?

Lea Michele’s shimmering blue eyeliner looks like something her glitter-loving Glee character Rachel Berry would experiment with at Regionals, but here she is pulling it off at last months’ Vanity Fair Oscar Party. So what made this look less high school and more high fashion?

Lea’s peachy/pink lip and simple ponytail keeps the look simple, but we’re not sure if it would have worked if she wasn’t wearing a dress made out of blue sequins. What do you think?

Brooklyn-Decker-Hairdo.jpg
Model turned actress Brooklyn Decker has recently debuted a new much shorter ‘do, and we’re kind of in love with it. Sure, her long, wavy golden locks were probably a man’s dream, but her cropped, wispy haircut is so chic, fun and flirty. It reminds us of Meg Ryan’s haircut in You’ve Got Mail that everyone was flipping for (you know, before the terrible plastic surgery?)

Celebrity hair stylist Ted Gibson reportedly cut off about 10 inches! We wanted to know if she donated any of it to Locks of Love, but because her hair is so dyed and processed, they wouldn’t accept it, though she says she would have love to give to the cause.

Every time spring or summer rolls around, starlets of all ages chop it off, and we can’t wait to see who’s next…maybe it’s you!

Tell us, which look do you prefer on Brooklyn, and would you consider taking off so much length in the name of spring?

Jennifer-Aniston.jpg

Since yesterday, the buzz on every news outlet wasn’t a riot in the middle east, or an earthquake in the Pacific - it was mostly about Jennifer Aniston’s new haircut. All day yesterday, we heard the snickers and the sneers of the nay sayers “Why is Jennifer Aniston’s haircut news?” they’d say. Well, because it just is, that’s why.

We wanted to give our opinion, and hear what you had to say, as well as pit her old style against her new style. In our opinion, though the cut is chic, polished with a little bit of edge and easily wearable by everyday gals, something about it hardens Jen’s face, and almost ages her. We loved her longer locks (especially when wavy), and the more muted blonde with lowlights. Her bright, yellow-blonde hue is surely an attention grabber - heck, we can’t keep our eyes off of it - but it almost washes her out in our opinion. Maybe it’s the flash, maybe she was having a bad picture day, so we’re not going to bring down a big stamp of disapproval until we see the cut settle in.

Now, don’t get us wrong, like we said, we don’t have anything against the actual cut. But for America’s sweetheart, a sweeter haircut just suits her better in our opinion.

Now we want to know what you think. As we asked in a previous post, love it, leave it, or just stop talking about it?
