Two redheads, two black dresses, one movie premiere red carpet… and one lipstick choice.

Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr teamed up with Dove Go Sleeveless last week to shower (no pun intended) the winner of Dove’s Go Sleevless Fashion Challenge with a $5,000 shopping spree to the popular NYC boutique Big Drop. Jessica has been working with Dove for a couple years so we knew she must really like their products. “They’re very real,” she told us over the phone. “They want women to feel confident.” What’s not to like about that?

When not hitting up Big Drop, Jess told us she likes to bargain shop at Target, Urban Outfitters, Kohls and Topshop and she also dished on her must-have beauty products, which include Dove Go Sleeveless and her favorite, Caudalie’s elixir spray.

evanrachelpixie_smh.jpgI’ve had the same hairstyle pretty much my entire life: wavy long brown hair. So imagine my jealously when Evan Rachel Wood debuted her adorable (and chic!) new pixie cut at a press event for True Blood this week.

I had a brief encounter days earlier with a J.Crew employee with dark hair like mine who chopped it all off for the summer in a feminine boy cut like Evans… so yeah, pretty jealous.

I’m sure one of these years I’ll chop it all off, but in the meantime do you think it’s cool to change your do so frequently? Besides Evan, we can think of a few other celebs who do the same (Ashlee Simpson, Rachel McAdams). Actors change their look for roles all the time so it’s probably fun to experiment with so many different colors and cuts. But if we’re being honest, Evan has never looked better and should keep her hair like that for the next ten years.
januaryeyes_smh.jpgTalk about futuristic. Madmen actress January Jones’ makeup couldn’t be farther from the trends of the 60s. On two different occasions, the premiere of X-Men: First Class on May 25th (right) and the premiere of Unknown back in February (left), January used a broad stroke of matte eyeshadow that not only covered the lid, but also the area between the eye and nose.

January might be alone on this trend. It doesn’t work with dark shades (hello, raccoon eyes!), but could be fun to experiment with lighter shades. Unfortunately, her orange eyes and bright red lips combination is a little much, but we’ll definitely try this eye effect with a lighter lip color.
