Beth Behrs attended the ‘Monsters University’ movie premiere with milkmaid braids and a classic, girl-next-door, dewy look. mark Celebrity Makeup Artist Jamie Greenberg shared exactly how she created Beth’s dewy complexion, “We wanted to go for clean, dewy skin with a touch of pink for this event. I gave Beth’s skin a perfect base by using mark Get a Tint Tinted Moisturizer Lotion SPF 15. Next, I applied mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette to create a healthy, subtle glow and layered mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Cheeky for some extra warmth. Finally, I applied mark Save the Day Anti-Acne Concealer Stick and mark Matte-Nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder to Beth’s T-zone, treating any imperfections and reducing shine.” Keeping with the natural theme, Jamie went for a shiny and light gloss coating for Beth’s lips. “Adding the final touch to Beth’s gorgeous look, I applied mark Juice Gems Squeeze On Lip Gloss in Snow Peach for a nude, glossy finish.”

In contrast to her lighter, more natural, cheeks and lips Jamie gave Beth a bold eye look, “I started on Beth’s eyes by applying mark Please Hold Eye Primer to create a strong base. Next, I used mark I-Mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Luvstruck in the creases of her eyes and mark On the Dot Bold Eye Color Compact (burgundy shade) on the outsides of her eyes and under her lash lines. I added mark Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Industria (purple shade) as eyeliner, and mark Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Entourage (black shade) to line her upper lash lines. I finished the look with one layer of mark Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara in Black and one layer of YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils Mascara in Burgundy.”
Make some room on your mantle, Ms. Swift. Or should we say on your bathroom vanity. The six-time Grammy winner was awarded the Fragrance Celebrity of the Year title at the 2013 Fragrance Foundation Awards held in New York City on June 12th. The honor is given to ‘a celebrity who has uplifted the world of fragrance’ according to The Fragrance Foundation.

The timing could not be more perfect for T. Swift. While the award honored her first two fragrances, Wonderstruck and Wonderstruck Enchanted, her third fragrance, Taylor by Taylor Swift, is set to launch at the end of June on Taylor by Taylor Swift is a more evolved fragrance that embodies Taylor’s personality and style.
My jaw dropped a little when I saw Rosario Dawson’s recent haircut — it’s edgy, funky and is quite a different look for her. We’ve seen other celebs recently do the shaved-side-of-head look, Miley Cyrus anyone? But usually the shaved side is paired with a punky short other side, and Rosario paired it with her down to shoulder hair. The effect, in my opinion, is a bit odd, and while I applaud her ballsy choice, I have to say that I will not be copying this one any time soon. WHat about you? Is the shaved-side-of-head look your new summer go-to?
Amy Adams embodied retro elegance at the New York City premiere of ‘Man of Steel’. Celebrity stylist Laini Reeves was inspired by the “intricacy and femininity of Amy’s spectacular gown” to create a hairstyle “reminiscent of the classic screen sirens of the 1920s — but with a sleeker, modern, creative take.”

After creating a low side part, Reeves used a ‘low’ setting to blow dry Amy’s hair, then applied Moroccan Oil Treatment to add the natural-looking shine. After spraying the hair with Moroccan Oil Luminous Hairspray, Reeves took 1-inch sections of her hair and used a 1.25-inch marcel curling iron to give her hair the defined wave. Finishing off the look with a soft bristle brush to gently soften up the waves, more hairspray set the hair in place and kept it that way throughout the night.

A couple weeks ago we noticed Zoe Saldana was favoring a certain bold-hued lip trend. And this week Emma Watson popped up at two different red carpet events sporting two different looks — apparently she doesn’t have a go-to, how refreshing! On June 3, Emma Watson looked a bit more fresh and young on the ‘This Is the End’ red carpet. Her makeup seemed to have a more bronzed, nude tint to it and her lips were a shade akin to just-picked raspberries. Then she stepped out on June 4, in support of her own new movie, ‘The Bling Ring.’ This time she looked decidedly more vamp, with her darker eyebrows and more reddish-hued lips.

Both lips were deeply textured in deeper, flat matte shades of lipcolor — a look Dior Rouge Dior Lip Color nails every time.
