Are you the fun party girl, the spontaneous optimist, the zen yoga-lover or the harried full time Mom? Find out which of the fun, fearless females from awomensworld.com that you are most like with their online personality quiz. Once you find out whether you’re an Anna, Cheryl, Maya or Nikki, we’ll show you how to create the best fall beauty look for your personality and lifestyle.

CHERYL is a full-time mom married to a workaholic. Putting everyone else’s happiness first, her days consist of chasing after the kids and dragging herself to the gym on occasion.

Getting ready quick is essential for this busy mom. Her fall beauty routine consists of concealer in all the right places (a must!), a highlighting stick to brighten up her complexion, a nourishing tinted gloss and a swipe of mascara. For date night with her husband, a bold plum eye is in order.

Sometimes we have a lot of money to spend, sometimes we don’t. When it comes to mascara, we know some of the best can only be found in a department store or specialty boutique. We also know that some of the best can be found in the drugstore for less than $10.

These are our favorites, suitable for every budget.

Our Top 3 Picks— LUXE:

givenchy_phenomeyes_mascara.jpg

Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes

This odd brush gives our lashes the most amazing look: lengthened, separated and strengthened thanks to panthenol in the formula. After a little practice, we are now able to create a gorgeous lash look that we love. $28, sephora.com

diorshow_iconic.jpg

Dior DiorShow Iconic

With its soft, oblique cut brush to wrap its mascara formula around each lash and give an extra curling effect, Iconic is one every woman should own, or at least try. This also provides a surprising amount of fantastic volume and contains a silk extract that is normally found in hair conditioners. $27, saks.com

shiseido_mascara.jpg

Shiseido The Makeup Lasting Lift Mascara

We love this mascara for providing our lashes with definition, length and fabulous volume. Air Volume Powder in the formula offers curl enhancement and a light-weight feel. Waterproof and sweat-proof. $22, nordstrom.com

Our Top 3 Picks— LESS:

maybelline_lash_discovery.jpg

Maybelline Lash Discovery

For lashes that are practically invisible, this makes them appear virtually out of nowhere. Even those of us with thick lashes love this for its ability to get to every last lash. $6.59, drugstore.com

cg_pro_all_in_one_wp.jpg

CoverGirl Professional Waterproof All In One

This mascara does it all— volumizes, lengthens, separates, is water-proof and won’t flake or bother your eyes if you wear contacts. If there’s a club for over-achieving mascaras, this one is a member. $4.99, drugstore.com

rimmel_glam_eyes_mascara.jpg

Rimmel London Glam Eyes Mascara

Don’t let the skinny, flexible wand fool you— this mascara means business. Short bristles work to add volume and length and the longer ones keep lashes from clumping. It takes a few coats to get to serious volume, but trust us, it’s completely worth the effort. $7.49, walgreens.com
ashley_greene.jpgAshley Greene worked the red carpet as the fashion correspondent for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. We think she did a great job, but of course we had to get the scoop on her glamorous hairstyle. Styled by Pantene Celebrity Stylist, Danilo, Ashley’s long, wavy locks offered a retro feel with contemporary glamour.

Here’s how you can recreate the look:

pantenerootliftergel.jpg

1. Starting on wet hair, Danilo sprayed the Pantene Pro-V Root Lifter Gel ($4.99, walgreens.com) on her crown to prime her hair for a voluminous shape on top.

We also recommend Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray ($18, sephora.com) and Suave Professionals Volumizing Root Lifter Spray Gel ($2.99, drugstore.com)

PanteneRestorativesFrizzControlBalm.jpg

2. Since Ashley was stationed outside on the red carpet, Danilo combed through Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Ultra Smoothing Balm ($5.17, amazon.com) from the mid-shaft of her hair to the ends to keep it looking sleek and frizz-free despite the humidity.

Other frizz-controlling balms to try: PHYTO ‘Phytodéfrisant’ Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm ($26, nordstrom.com) and Carol’s Daughter Hair Balm ($12, sephora.com)

3. After applying the balm, Danilo blow-dried her hair straight.

4. Danilo then pulled the top half of her hair back, using his classic French Lacing technique to give her healthy volume on top while leaving a dramatic side part for contrast.

5. He then used a large iron to create her loose flowing curls underneath, combing when necessary.

Pantene Pro-V Texture Hairspray.jpg

6. To hold the look in place, Danilo sprayed her hair with the Pantene Pro-V Texture Hairspray ($4.49, drugstore.com) for movable texture while she worked the carpet.

We also recommend: CHI Infra Texture Hair Spray ($12.99, target.com)

kiehlsimperialbodybalm2.jpgWhen it comes to our skin, only the best will do. Since we are constantly trying new things, it’s really hard for a product to impress us so much we have to declare our love from the rooftops to get our point across. Kiehl’s Imperial Body Balm is that incredible product for us at this moment. This highly-nourishing and uber-moisturizing body cream has wowed us to the point of utter infatuation. We are in love, to say the least.

Formulated with Shea and Cocoa butters and Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil to replenish skin, antioxidants to protect, and glycolic acids to aid in faster cell-turnover, this thick moisturizer goes to work soothing rough spots, leaving our skin looking radiant and healthy. Its dessert-like smell makes using it even that more enjoyable. 8 oz. $42, kiehls.com

donna_karan_fall_2009_jourdan_dunn2.jpgWhile everything from metallics to bright neon colors were seen on the runways for Fall 2009, it was the rosy-gold, post-summer looks that peaked our interest, as it looks like a more natural way to transition into the season. Pink and peach tones create a romantic and soft look when used with bronzes and coppers, and is an easy way to give the face a radiant glow. Take a look at our picks for incorporating this look into your beauty routine.

laura_mercier_shimmer_block.jpg

Laura Mercier Mosaic Shimmer Bloc

Each of the four colors in this compact can be used individually or together to add a boost of color and radiance anywhere on the face (we love to use it to highlight cheeks and brow bones) thanks to light-reflecting particles that give the skin a healthy glow. $38, sephora.com

estee_lauder_sensuous_gold_shadow_quad.jpg

Estee Lauder Eye Shadow Quad in Sensuous Gold

Make your eyes shine with gorgeous quartet of bronzes. As with all Estee Lauder eye shadows, these offer high color payoff and long-lasting results. Limited Edition. $35, nordstrom.com

nars_silk_road.jpg

NARS Eye Shadow Duo in Silk Road

This icy pink and rose gold duo will light up any eye look. The gold flecks in the rose gold shadow adds a touch of sassy, fall-doesn’t-have-to-be-dull flavor. $32, beauty.com

maybellinelinestylistliner.jpgMaybelline Line Stylist Eyeliner in Bronze Gleam

To add a simple hint of bronze to your eyes that will also add subtle definition, this eyeliner is our favorite. It makes any novice feel like a pro with its precision of application. The long-lasting formula keeps eyes looking fresh and polished all day and easily washes away at the end of the day. $5.79, drugstore.com

jane_iredale_whisper_blush.jpg

Jane Iredale PurePress Blush in Whisper

wetnwildglossrosegold.bmp

Wet ‘n’ Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in Rose Gold

With just the right amount of stickiness (not super tacky, but not sliding off our lips instantly), we love this gloss for it’s pretty shimmer and glossy finish. We have to add the fact that the price tag is definitely very apealing, too. $1.99, drugstore.com

mac-double-dazzle-dazzleglass-02.jpg

MAC Dazzleglass in Get Rich Quick

For creating the ultimate high-impact neutral pout, Dazzleglass in Get Rich Quick is our go-to lippie. With a silky texture and brilliant finish, this is one gloss that keep us coming back for more. $18, maccosmetics.com
