It’s been a long road, but we may have finally hit the jackpot with Olay’s Total Effects 7 in 1 Anti-Aging Moisturizer Plus Cooling Hydration.

The new color wands from the Sephora Collection are genius. Honestly, they are so brilliant, it’s amazing to us to think that no one ever thought of something like this before (well, maybe they have, but they clearly weren’t memorable enough to mention here.) Each wand comes equipped with six different colors. The Nymph wand (center) comes with clear gloss, light pinks, and neutral peaches. The Siren wand (right) has medium pinks, berry tones and shimmery nudes. Our favorite, though, was the Muse wand (left). It comes stacked with glossy plum, tangerine and a variety of nudes.

All wands have a mango, peachy smell and flavor. We loved how easy these were to carry around, without feeling like we were toting an arsenal of glosses with us. Think about it, if you were to purchase all three wands, which take up the space of three traditional lip glosses, you’d actually have 18 options! They aren’t sticky, and the darker hues are nicely pigmented, plus the color lasts a decent amount of time.

Each color connects to the next with their own brush. The only problem we’d foresee having with these is falling madly in love with one or two hues, and running out quickly, since the jars are pretty micro, and we can’t imagine them lasting a huge amount of time if this were the case.

Regardless, we absolutely adore these color wands, and at $10 each, think they’re a great value, as well.

Kate Walsh recently launched  Boyfriend LLC, a beauty company birthed from her idea that everyone has a boyfriend story to share. Kate’s personal story and inspiration is a breakup that the actress went through five years ago, after which she realized how much she missed his scent. “So I went to a fragrance counter and bought a men’s fragrance and went, ‘Wait a minute, you don’t need a boyfriend to have a Boyfriend! Ding ding ding!’” Walsh told WWD. “All these ideas just wouldn’t leave me alone.”

The scent is described as a floral, warm, woody amber musk, will also launch in Sephora in January, along with another fragrance and possible color cosmetics in the future. Even cooler, the bottle design includes ghostwritten names of former boyfriends,

The five-piece Boyfriend set will retail for $80, and will debut on HSN on November 11th.
8433a0a667ae7f7f_Juliette-Lewis.jpgAt a screening of her new movie Conviction on Tuesday, quintessential rocker/actress Juliette Lewis debuted a softer, more romantic look in the form of loose, flowing waves.

Her stylist, Thomas Dunkin, created the waves and has a few tips on how to get them:

  • Begin by saturating the hair from root to tip with a volumizing product.
  • Separate your hair into medium-sized sections.
  • Twist each section, alternating between a clockwise and counterclockwise direction to create wavy texture that’s full of volume.
  • If you have bangs, blow dry them with a large round brush.
  • Finish the look with hair spray.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is not necessarily a stranger to changing up her look, and changing it often. She’s gone from blonde, to black, to red, to ombre (as we mentioned here) and now back to blonde, and super short.

Her platinum pixie cut with lengthy sweeping bangs is certainly a departure from her super long gradient locks she was rocking as of late. Her hubby, Pete Wentz tweeted earlier this week: “Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (@ashsimpsonwentz) new blonde haircut is cute.”  Cute, indeed!

We think the key to her fun, sassy and still young look is the color and the style. Keeping her bangs super long and side-swept give the cut a fun and fearless quality, while the golden blonde leaves her looking fresh and vibrant.

Now, we’ve told you how we feel about Ashlee’s new coif. We think it’s super precious. What do you think about Ashlee’s hair? Would you chop off your locks and drastically change the color? Leave a comment and chime in!
