Guess what? Maybelline Great Lash Mascara is turning 40 this year. Can you believe how good it still looks? Seriously, we hope we look as good as this mascara does when we hit the big 4-0.In any case, Maybelline decided to team up with three of the biggest names in fashion—Max Azria of BCBG, Tracy Reese and Vivienne Tam—to design custom tubes of the tried and true cult favorite. The result is the tubes you see pictured above, each one reflecting that designer’s aesthetic and made even more special since they’ve all used Maybelline for the makeup at their past runway shows.
And here’s a fun fact: fashion designer Lilly Pulitzer’s bright and cheery clothing originally inspired the pink and green tube back in the 70’s!
Here’s the best part. These tubes will be available in September at Target stores nationwide! They retail for $6.99 each. Be sure to snap them up when they hit the shelves—we know we’re going to!
Dove’s Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner doesn’t smell that great, and its cheap yellow appearance was a bit off-putting, but I was excited by its promises to “revive dry, rough and frizzy hair” with it’s weightless nutri-oils. I didn’t notice an instant change, but overall my hair seems to be responding well to it so I’ll keep using it until it’s time to try a new conditioner. 
While winter tends to wreak more havoc on our skin than the summer months, we still tend to get a little dehydrated by August. Chalk it up to laying on the beach and sunning ourselves (don’t worry, we’re wearing SPF!). Thankfully, we’ve got The Body Shop Macadamia Body Butter Duo by our side for these trying times.
