We’re fairly obsessed with nails. Color, art, intricate designs … the cooler and more out there, the better. But, unfortunately, we can’t ever do the fun stuff ourselves. Well, until Nails Inc. Magnetic Polish came along, that is.This nail polish is seriously the coolest polish we’ve ever come across. You paint it on exactly like normal polish—and then the real fun begins. On top of the cap is a magnet. Flip the cap over, loop the hook over your cuticle and hold the magnet over your nail for about three seconds. (Be careful not to touch your nail.)
Once the magnet is pulled away from the polish, voila! A fun, swirly design that took exactly three seconds and no effort to create, and it’s completely compliment-worthy. Plus, the polish lasts for up to a week with minimal to no chipping!
(We’re wearing Trafalgar Square above, and this chrome hue is so stunning we couldn’t help but stare at our nails for hours on end!)
Nails Inc. Magnetic Polish retails for $16 at sephora.com.

Well, if you ask us, peels aren’t usually very fun. If anything, they leave our skin red and raw for days. Not so, however, with Kate Somerville Clinic-To-Go Resurfacing Peel Pads.
The topknot was one of the big trends seen on the runways for Spring 2012. Luckily, it’s making its way to Hollywood much sooner than six months from now, as evidenced in this super high version from the adorable Chloe Moretz. For Elle’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute this week, hairstylist Gregory Russell was inspired by Chloe’s white structured dress and created a clean style with side bangs and a high textured knot.
Kate Winslet’s Golden Hat Foundation has teamed up with Lancôme to create a truly beautiful limited edition holiday offering. The line features a shimmery face powder (Poudre Lumière), a stunning, bright red lipstick (L’Absolu Rouge Lipcolor) and petite-sized nail polishes (Mini Le Vernis) in pink and red. I’m sure these products are going to be a smashing success, and I have to admit I’m totally smitten with the golden fedora (the symbol of the Golden Hat Foundation) emblem on the Poudre Lumière. According to their Facebook page, “The Golden Hat Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to
eliminating barriers for people with autism around the world, and
creating an environment that holds these individuals as intellectually
capable.” I commend Kate Winslet on her passionate service to the autistic community!
