Heidi-Klum-AMAs-Makeup.jpgSeriously, can Heidi Klum do no wrong when it comes to her makeup? Her futuristic eye makeup at the AMAs this past weekend was so fantastic, especially set against her laser-cut metallic dress. We’re loving the three-quarter thick black liner and pops of creamy silver eyeshadow in the corners. Here’s how to get the look.

Don’t be caught off guard during mistletoe season. You may think that just by using a good lip balm (personally Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 is my fave) your lips will be properly cared for. WRONG! Our lips, like every other part of our body, can be in dire need of a good sloughing sometimes. This is why I heart the Smashbox Emulsion Lip Exfoliator. It has a peppermint-y smell and is actually edible, but that’s not what makes it so great — it’s how it removes dead skin, and leaves lips feeling soft and totally kissable that’s so wonderful.

Deborah-Lippmann-Fashion.jpgLooking for a nude nail polish that still garners attention? Then you’d better reach for a bottle of Deborah Lippmann Fashion.

This nail color slicks on easily and effortlessly, with no streaking or goopy mess left behind. One coat is actually fairly opaque, but we like to do two for maximum impact and staying power.

We love the glossy finish of the polish as well. While we always recommend using a top coat to lock in the color and add shine, it’s actually amazingly shiny all on its own!

And the color? Think taupe, nude and khaki all rolled into one perfect little package. Tres fashionable, if we do say so ourselves.

The one lip trend that seems to be sweeping the red carpet as of late? Glossy nude lips. From Hollywood starlets to some of the biggest supermodels of all time, the glossy nude lip transcends.

Celebrities-Nude-Glossy-Lips-Pic-1.jpgAt The Late Show With David Letterman, Twilight’s Nikki Reed rocked a nude lip with long, wavy tresses. Amy Adams also sported wavy locks at the premiere of The Muppets, along with a champagne-hued shimmery pout.

Celebrities-Nude-Glossy-Lips-Pic-2.jpgNow, if there are two more beautiful women than Cindy Crawford and Elle Macpherson, we haven’t found them. And both supermodels are definitely loving nude glossy lips right now. Elle kept the rest of her makeup simple, while Cindy went for a kohl-rimmed eye. Both looks are gorgeous and sexy ways to rock a nude lip.

‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1’
premiere took place this week and the red carpet was filled with beauties galore. Two of the girls, as usual, stole the show — Kirsten Stewart (pictured far left) with her beautiful cat eyes and Ashley Greene (pictured far right) with her bold red lips. Nikki Reed (pictured center) held her own by going for a more natural look.

Following Nikki’s cue and rounding out the natural look were Elizabeth Reaser (pictured far right) and Julia Jones (pictured center). While, Christian Serratos (pictured far left) went for a more dramatic look, breaking with her bookish character, Angela’s style.

And just when you thought the only actresses having any fun on the red carpet had deep dark, long locks, we find a pixie among two blondes. Casey LaBow (pictured far right) and MyAnna Buring went for daring, dark eye makeup to offset their lighter features. While Valorie Curry took a page from Alice Cullen’s style diary and let her pixie haircut, not her makeup, do the talking.

I, for one, am really looking forward to this movie’s release! Based on the premiere’s red carpet style I can’t wait to see what the wedding will look like.
