Nicki-Minaj-Pink-Friday-Reloaded.jpgCount on Nicki Minaj to sport the coolest nails we’ve seen in quite awhile! At her CD signing for “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” in Philadelphia recently, every nail was completely different—and completely cool. Her super-long nails were filed into a sharp and pointy oblong shape, which we don’t necessarily recommend trying at home if you have to type, play piano, etc—but for Nicki, they totally work.

Nicki-Minaj-Pink-Friday-Reloaded-Nails-Closeup.jpgWe love that each nail is different but works within the whole. The color scheme of pale pinks and blues swirl together into such an intricate look upon each nail.

Sally-Hansen-Salon-Effects-Kitty-Kitty.jpgIf you want to try this at home but aren’t too great at doing nail art, never fear! Try Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips ($9 each at They’re a cinch to apply and come in over 20 different designs!
Body-Washes-Image.jpgNo matter what other products we try, we find ourselves coming back to body wash again and again and again and … well, you get the picture. At any rate, we’ve tried tons of body washes over the years. These are the three that currently have our hearts going pitter-pat.

Bliss Blood Orange + White Pepper Soapy Suds
The lather this body wash creates is unparalleled, not to mention it smells absolutely fantastic. We love the combination of blood orange and white pepper—it’s zesty with a hint of kick. Plus, this body wash doubles as a bubble bath!

Dove VisibleCare Toning Body Wash
This creamy wash is rich, thick and lush. It creates a delicious smelling lather that makes skin feel super soft and smooth, thanks to ingredients like NutriumMoisture and Vitamin E. And it even tones skin the more you use it!

Fresh Sugar Lemon Bath and Shower Gel
The combination of sugar and lemons sounds like it would be overly saccharine, but in the case of this body wash, it’s just delectably sweet. And with ingredients like moisturizing shea butter and Vitamins C and E, skin looks and feels utterly fantastic.

I’ve been intrigued by the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips since they first popped up. But I kept having flashbacks to my youth and those silly Lee Press-on-Nails and what a disaster they were. Surely anything you stick on your nails would behave the same, right? Apparently my misgivings are misguided, as I’ve seen everyone, and I do mean, EVERYONE rocking these trendy talons. Just a couple nights ago, Christina Aguilera rocked the Nail Polish Strips in the “Lust-rous” pattern on her TV show The Voice. Needless to say, when I’m ready to change my nail color next week, I’ll be testing these out.
You can buy Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips for $9.99 at

Tocca-Stella-Laundry-Delicate.jpgThe mere thought of doing our laundry makes us shudder. But when we can replace boring old ALL or Tide with something as luxurious as Tocca Stella Laundry Delicate, all of a sudden, laundry day is something we just can’t wait for.

Stella’s signature scent—the deliciously heady aroma of sweet Italian blood orange—perfumes your clothing just enough to make them smell amazing. The gentle detergent is safe for even the finest, most delicate garments, and you can use it either when hand washing or in the washing machine.

What can we say … sometimes there’s just something so fantastic about adding a little luxury to the laundry.

Tocca Stella Laundry Delicate retails for $15 at
Fall and spring are the times of year when I change up my signature scent. In fall I prefer a more warm, vanilla, bakery scent, whereas in spring I prefer a more light, coconut-ty, beachy scent; but regardless of the season I always layer on a little sugar. Pink Sugar to be exact. This cotton candyish scent is alluring and amazingly addictive. I layer it with just about any body spray and am always amazed at how it transforms my mood and those around me. And one of the things I adore most about it is how distinctive it is — people always notice it and I can always tell when someone else is wearing it!

You can buy Aquolina Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette for $30 at

P.S. There’s also a Pink Sugar bath and body line with a body spritz if you prefer the lighter formula.
