Chanel-Gold-Fingers-Le-Vernis-Nail-Lacquer.jpgAh, Chanel. We’re fairly certain they can do no wrong when it comes to nail polish. Time and time again, they produce colors that are gorgeous and bold yet extremely wearable. And, as one might expect, they’ve done it once more with Gold Fingers Le Vernis Nail Colour.

We have to admit, when we first saw this polish in the bottle, we were skeptical of how it would apply. We thought it would be on the grittier, thinner glitter side of the nail polish spectrum. But oh, how wrong we were—and how happy we were to be wrong! One coat yields slick, sleek, totally even color that’s the shade and consistency of rich molten gold.

We also love the amount of sparkle packed into the formula. As if the color itself weren’t gold enough, it’s layered with a large number of gold sparkles to really stand out in the crowd.

This nail polish is part of Chanel’s limited-edition Las Vegas de Chanel collection. It retails for $28 at
We wait with bated breath to see what Pantone’s color of the year will be. And this year, it’s the fun, punchy, super bright Tangerine Tango! Think the juiciest orange possible, now inspiring a whole lot of fashion and beauty products in its wake. Below, the beauty products we think do it best.

For the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Carrie Underwood hit the red carpet with amped up, amazing hair. All credit for the beautiful ‘do goes to Celebrity Stylist Melissa Schleicher and Oribe hair care products.

Melissa started by prepping Carrie’s hair with Oribe Hair Care Supershine and placing it in hot rollers. After removing the rollers, she used Oribe Hair Care Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray and then added additional body by using a 1.5” curling iron. When the desired volume had been achieved she pinned hair in a soft twist on one side in the back to keep curls cascading over one shoulder. She finished off Carrie’s look with Oribe Hair Care Superfine Strong Hairspray.

Selena-Gomez-Hair-Extensions.jpgTween favorite Selena Gomez just wrapped her movie Spring Breakers, in which she’ll be seen with an adorable bob. But immediately after finishing the movie, she went to the salon for super long hair extensions!

Selena tweeted two photos of herself on Sunday sporting her new ‘do. We have to say we’re really loving the long locks—the length is very flattering, and the choppy chin-skimming layers give it added dimension. We think it’s so fun that she gives her fans an insider’s look at what’s happening with her hair!
I’m always up for trying a new shampoo and conditioner, so when I saw John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner I was ready to give it a try. I’ve been growing my hair out and it’s gotten pretty long — but during the process I noticed the ends were looking dry and the length was weighing my baby fine locks down. This is where John Frieda’s latest formula is genius! It coats my hair in conditioners that perfectly soften my strands and help to minimize damage, all the while not adding any additional weight. And  my hair has never looked better, if I do say so myself.
