Jessica-Biel-Blue-Nails.jpgWe are completely enamored with Jessica Biel’s blue nails. She showed up at the 4th Annual Variety’s Power of Women Luncheon last week not only looking stunning in a printed dress by Gucci, but with amazing nails to boot! We love the dark navy polish, especially since it’s accented with tons of shimmer.

To get the look yourself, try Essie Aruba Blue ($8 at It’s a sapphire color with a frosty, shimmery finish—just like Jessica’s!

I had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with Tweezerman’s Slant Tweezer very early on in my eyebrow pruning years. Ever since then, I’ve known that they are simply the best. I don’t know that I can truly explain why, but I know they fit incredibly well in my hand, are made from the finest stainless steel, and the tips are perfectly created to grab every single stray hair. In general tweezers aren’t a tool you’ll find yourself replacing a lot, that is except for when Tweezerman announces another fun print like this new etched zebra print.

Bliss-24-Heaven-Healing-Body-Balm.jpgWant a body lotion with the consistency of whipped cream, a scent that’s intoxicating beyond belief and the ability to banish dry skin? Introducing Bliss 24-“Heaven” Healing Body Balm.

We actually think the name of this product is misleading—it’s so much more than a balm. It’s thick, it’s rich, it’s lush, it’s nourishing, it’s conditioning … basically, it’s a cream with amazing healing properties.

We’ve been rubbing it into our ashy legs, knobbly knees and rough elbows for about a month now, and we have to say, our skin has never been smoother or softer! We really can’t believe the change. We’re just happy we found it before the really cold weather sets in!

revitalift-serum.jpgA couple of weeks ago, I introduced you to the new L’Oreal Paris RevitaLift Triple Power Collection, an anti-aging system that contains three products working together to repair wrinkles, re-firm contours and replenish facial volume. I’ve been using the system twice a day for a few weeks now and I’m thrilled with the results so far. The instant benefits are soft, moisturized skin that looks smoother with a noticeable plumping of the skin.

Last week I reviewed the Deep Acting Moisturizer and today I will review the remaining two products. The first step of the system is the Concentrated Serum. This serum aims to address 3 dimensions of skin aging to fight wrinkles, replenish volume and resurface skin texture. Powerful ingredients include Pro-Xylane to stimulate collagen and Hyaluronic Acid to penetrate skin and retain moisture. I apply the serum twice daily to damp skin and it feels amazing, instantly soothing my super-dry skin.

The third product in the collection is the Triple Power Eye Treatment that targets aging in the delicate eye area. It aims to fight wrinkles, reduce bags and lift the eye area using the same acting ingredients in the serum. It instantly works to smooth and moisturize the eye area, providing a great base for concealing products if desired.

All three products combine to make skin look amazingly soft, smooth and moisturized upon application. I also feel that my fine lines, especially around the eyes, appear reduced. Stay tuned for next week’s progress report!

L’Oréal Paris RevitaLift introduces Triple Power - three anti-aging skincare products designed to help fight the 3 dimensions of aging. When just fighting wrinkles isn’t enough, you need to go beyond a one-dimensional approach to restore skin’s youthful look. Challenge this approach with a powerful and luxurious cream (Triple Power Deep-Acting Moisturizer) that visibly addresses the three dimensions of aging skin: wrinkles, loss of facial volume and loss of firmness. The RevitaLift Triple Power collection also includes a Concentrated Serum and an Eye Treatment.

Urban-Decay-Eyeshadow-Primer-Potion-Tube.jpgIf you’re going to use an eyeshadow primer, there’s really only one way to go. And that’s Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

We’d heard about the amazingness of this product for years before actually picking up a tube for ourselves. Really? we thought. A primer that makes eyeshadow stay in place, no matter how hot or sweaty we get? No matter the consistency of the shadow, cream or powder? No matter how humid the weather or amount of dancing we do in a club? Impossible.

Well, color us impressed, because this primer WORKS. A quick sweep on each eye, a few seconds to let it dry, and voila—your eyeshadow won’t move for the entire day. You heard us—the ENTIRE day. Cream, liquid, powder, it doesn’t matter—it just doesn’t budge!

And, thankfully, Urban Decay wised up and changed the packaging a couple years ago, from the old couldn’t-get-half-the-formula-out-of-the-strangely-shaped-tube to just a normal, everyday, squeezable tube that lets you get every single drop of product out. Thank goodness.
