I already shared my strong like of the John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo and Conditioner (missed it? read it, here!). So it was really only natural that I try the other products in the line. The John Frieda Full Repair Perfect Ends Sheer Mist is truly amazing. Immediately after I towel-dry my hair, I gather it all together and spritz a couple of sprays of Perfect Ends on the front and then a couple on the back and I comb it through. You only need a little bit and you only apply it to the ends. It helps your ends lock in moisture so that as you blow-dry your hair they don't dry out and show signs of damage. It also doesn't weigh my baby fine locks down one bit.

You can get John Frieda Full Repair Perfect Ends Sheer Mist for $8.99 at ulta.com.

You wouldn't believe how difficult it can be to find a good blonde eyebrow pencil. Often there is only one blonde shade and it's often still too dark, or sometimes even too light. But Laura Mercier's Eyebrow Pencil comes in five shades, including fair blonde, soft brunette, warm brunette and brunette; with two blonde shades I knew I had found my match. It's also super easy to apply with its standard pencil point tip and I find it defines my eyebrows perfectly.

You can get Laura Mercier Eyebrow Pencils for $20 at nordstrom.com.

I recently got my hair cut and highlighted, and the chick who does my hair did such a good job styling it that I was inspired. My hair dryer and fancy round brushes are getting all sorts of use these days and my hair has truly never looked better. But it's not because of the styling tools, it's because of one magical styling product, Davines Momo Moisturizing Anti Aging Daily Cream! This stuff is like a magical potion for my hair, between the heat styling and color treatment one would think my hair would be slowly getting drier and drier by the day. But Davines Momo Moisturizing Anti Aging Daily Cream keeps it soft, manageable and beautiful. I simply take a pea-sized amount and lightly apply it to my hair when I'm all done styling it. I pay extra attention to the ends and I can tell they appreciate it.

Davines Momo Moisturizing Anti Aging Daily Cream is available only at salons, click here to find one near you.
custom-nail-polish.jpg
One of the things I love to do most with my extensive nail polish collection is layer the colors to make my own colors. There are times when my efforts have resulted in failure, some colors just don't mix the way you thought they would. But sometimes they result in beautiful colors that are completely custom and really quite stunning. One of my most recent combinations was Essie Mambo and Essie Curtain Call for a beautiful bronzey-nude color.

I always start with a primer of some sort and then follow up with one coat of the base or primary color. In this case, my base was Mambo, a pretty nudish-tan. As long as you applied the base evenly, it's time for the next coat, which is going to be your second layer. I usually opt for something shimmery or slightly sheer, as the point is to let the base layer show a little and to allow them to mix. I applied one even and slightly thin coat of Curtain Call right over the Mambo. Lastly I follow up with my go-to finishing touch Essie Good to Go top coat.

You can get Essie Mambo and Curtain Call nail polishes for $8 each at nordstrom.com.
pink-sugar.jpg
Fall and spring are the times of year when I change up my signature scent. In fall I prefer a more warm, vanilla, bakery scent, whereas in spring I prefer a more light, coconut-ty, beachy scent; but regardless of the season I always layer on a little sugar. Pink Sugar to be exact. This cotton candyish scent is alluring and amazingly addictive. I layer it with just about any body spray and am always amazed at how it transforms my mood and those around me. And one of the things I adore most about it is how distinctive it is -- people always notice it and I can always tell when someone else is wearing it!

You can buy Aquolina Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette for $30 at kohls.com.

P.S. There's also a Pink Sugar bath and body line with a body spritz if you prefer the lighter formula.

I'm always up for trying a new shampoo and conditioner, so when I saw John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner I was ready to give it a try. I've been growing my hair out and it's gotten pretty long -- but during the process I noticed the ends were looking dry and the length was weighing my baby fine locks down. This is where John Frieda's latest formula is genius! It coats my hair in conditioners that perfectly soften my strands and help to minimize damage, all the while not adding any additional weight. And  my hair has never looked better, if I do say so myself.

Buy John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner for $5.19 at drugstore.com.

tend-skin-solution.jpg
The weather outside is no longer frightful, in fact around me, it's downright delightful. Warmer temps usually mean more attention paid to unwanted hair removal. Unfortunately with the smooth-skin benefits of hair removal, can come unsightly blemishes, in the form of razor bumps and even, UGH, ingrown hairs. Tend Skin the Skincare Solution is my go-to for any problem that arises from hair removal. I just apply some to a clean cotton pad and swipe it over any affected areas. It works so incredibly effectively that I don't mind the rubbing alcohol smell (nothing a little lotion or body spray doesn't fix immediately). And I like the tingly sensation it leaves on my skin.

After a great afternoon workout, or just in the middle of a long wintery day, my skin is usually crying out for relief. This is when I turn to Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief for the perfect skin pick me up. A couple of spritzes of this wonder product and my skin feels rejuvenated and soft again. Best of all it isn't oil-baed, so your face won't get goopy and it absorbs quickly, though it works best for me when I lightly pat the excess with a tissue or towel.

You can get Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief for $21 at nordstrom.com.

kiehls-lip-balm-1.jpg
The winds have kicked up and my lips are the first to feel the effect. Those wintery, cold wind gusts make my lips dry and chapped. One year I thought they were beyond repair and worried I'd have to wait for the season to change to ever get any moisture back, then I met Kiehl's Lip Balm #1. It's seriously the best lip balm I've ever used. My favorite thing to do is to apply it just before bed and let it work its magic overnight. Because a little goes a long way, I've had the same tube for a couple years, so I was surprised when I learned it comes in flavors now, too -- Mango, vanilla, cranberry, mint and coconut!

You can buy the flavored Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 for $9 at Nordstrom.com.
