It's Friday and we STILL aren't over the gorgeous looks from Sunday's Emmys!

Here are a few looks that we can't get out of our heads:

Keri Russell_hair.jpgKeri Russel kept it flirty with icy lavender eyeshadow, rosy cheeks, and pinkish nude lips...complimented by her wavy side updo. Perfect for the warm weather on Emmy day...or a summer date night!

SofiaVergara_325.jpgSofia Vergera, who is always sultry, did not disappoint with cascading waves, smoky eyes, and shades of peach to make her tan pop. Muy Caliente!

LeaMichele-325.jpgLea Michele intensified her 70's inspired flowing hair by adding winged liner and nude lips reminiscent of the time period, proving you can look natural and glam at the same time. (Is it just us or does she remind you of Jen Garner here?)

ClaireDanes_325.jpgClaire Danes made her blue eyes pop by rimming them with plum shadow and adding lots of lash. Rosy shades on cheeks and lips complimented her blonde hair and tawny skin.

January Jones kept her face fresh with just a hint of icy white on the eyes to make them pop, but added extensions to the front of her hair for an beachy, a-line bob.

If there is an eyeshadow shade that is universally pretty on every skin tone and with every hair color, it's purple. Any variety of it - lavender, plum, violet - is the perfect accent for a feminine dress or night look. Pop stars Demi Lovato and Katy Perry are just a small sampling of the starlets that rock purple hues. Whether you are barely daring enough to supplement a shadow for your eyeliner, or bold enough to don a full lid, you really can't go wrong with this violet pigment. Check out some of our favorites below.

The Eurydice duo eyeshadow palette from NARS is by far one of our favorite purple shadows. It has just the right amount of intensity, and goes on very evenly. It's also great when used wet as a liner, and seems more resistant to caking than lower-end shadows. $32, Sephora.com

We loved the versatility of the Kat Von D True Romance eye palette, especially the range of plum to almost lavender hues that makes for the perfect purple smokey eye. But it's also good for everyday use with the earthy, neutral colors like the brown and gold. $24, Sephora.com

If there is an eyeshadow that has the perfect amount of shimmer, iridescence and pigment, its Dior's 5-colour in Extase Pinks. With a range in color that can take any chic lady from day to night, the shadows are velvety soft. Though it's definitely on the pricier side, it lasts and lasts...and lasts (we've had a Dior palette for over 5 years now and it's still going strong.) $58, Sephora.com

Since Illamasqua's release stateside a little over a year ago, we've been a smidge obsessed with their pure pigments and wide range of intense colors. Their powder eye shadow in Fatal is great when worn alone, as a shadow, or paired with shimmery whites and pinks for a dimensional eye. It starts pretty sheer, but can be quickly built up into a deep, vibrant purple. $20, Sephora.com

leamichele.bmpHOW TO GET LEA MICHELE'S LOOK:

Celebrity editorial stylist Mark Townsend created a modern and fresh hair look for Lea Michele. "Lea wanted her hair to look touchable and super modern, and full hair with lots of volume and a bit of roughness was perfect against her flawless gown," said Townsend.

· Start with clean hair.  Michele used Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner to give softness and smoothness in the time it takes to use a conditioner.

· "The end-of-Summer timing of the Emmys is a perfect opportunity to play with color. Lea is still shooting episodes of Glee and we couldn't do anything permanent, so I added in a few custom pieces of hair to add dimension and giver her removable highlights for the evening." The result was a golden/coppery effect throughout the ends of Michele's hair.

· Use Dove Body & Lift Volumizing Mousse throughout damp hair and blow dry with a round brush to add lift.

·Spray 3 inch sections of hair with Dove Heat Defense Therapy Mist to protect hair against heat styling damage before using an iron.

· Next, use a 2 inch curling iron to give a subtle bend or 'S' curl, rather than a perfect curl. Curl from the ends all the way up, and set each section with a barrel clip for 5 to 7 minutes or until cool.

·  Scrunch hair with Dove Daily Moisture Therapy Replenishing Mist to add moisture, and blow dry briefly without a diffuser to look a bit undone.

· Warm a pea-sized amount of Dove Frizz Control Therapy Taming Cream between the palms of hands. Rake fingers through hair to distribute product evenly for shiny, modern texture.

· Tease hair at the crown for extra volume and lift.

·  To finish, spray Dove Unscented Extra Hold Hairspray with Natural Movement liberally on a small, natural bristle eyebrow brush and run through bangs to hold a middle part. The parted bangs gave a modern update to the 60's vibe of Michelle's hair.

janjones.bmpHOW TO GET JANUARY JONES'S LOOK:

For Mad Men's January Jones, Townsend created an edgy, fashion-forward look. "A textured, asymmetrical bob was the perfect way to incorporate January's love of editorial fashion and runway style into a feminine, yet tough look," said Townsend.

· The night before, use Dove Intensive Repair Damage Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner to strengthen hair and prevent damage.

· "Second day texture was key to achieve this runway-meets-Hollywood look, so I pre-styled her hair the night before." Distribute Dove Curl & Sculpt Defining Mousse throughout and blow dry hair with round brush to add lift

· Set top sections of hair with large, 3 inch Velcro rollers for 15-20 minutes. While rollers set, add extensions in the front only to make hair longer in the front and shorter in the back.

· Spritz throughout with Dove Heat Defense Therapy Mist to protect against styling damage.

· Wrap 1 ½ to 2 inch sections of hair around a 1 inch curling iron to create a big, loose wave instead of a tight curl.

· The next day, reapply mousse to add lift to hair, and blow dry gently with a round brush to freshen up ends but not set perfectly.

· Rake a small amount of Dove Frizz Control Therapy Taming Cream through hair to add smoothness.

· Finish the look by spraying Dove Flexible Hold Hairspray with Natural Movement to set the style but still allow movement.

How to get the look:

1.  Shampoo/Condition hair, towel blot to remove excess water.

2.  Apply desired straightening balm, styling products and/or heat protectant.

3. Create an off-center part using a long tail comb.  If you prefer a more natural look, pull hair back away from face in lieu of a part.

4. Use a natural bristle brush round or flat brush and dry hair until 100% dry.  Use brush to create in volume in the crown and the sides if desired. If you prefer to wear the side ponytail straight, use a paddle brush to straighten tresses as you dry.

5.  Using a brush or fingers, pull the side and crown hair back towards the nape of the neck.  Smooth ponytail and then position the base so that it rests just slightly behind one ear.

6. Spritz the entire head lightly with a setting or styling spray.

Yes, even celebs get breakouts, but you don't always need a star salary to get rid of them. Some of our favorite star beauties forego expensive spas and treatments in favor of at-home treatments in order to keep  their skin red carpet ready.

celebacne.JPGMegan Fox swears by Bliss 'Pore'-fector Gadget Kit ($185), an innovative complexion-improving set featuring a high-tech, dual-action skincare tool and advanced pore-clearing formulas. The tool generates sonic vibrations, which work with Bliss Daily Detoxifying Facial Toner to create micro-jets (fine, steady streams of moisture) that extract impurities and deeply clean clogged skin. The sonic waves help to loosen up debris, creating a cleaner, smoother, more receptive surface, setting the stage for revitalizing antioxidants, hydrators, and the rest of your skincare regime to work effectively. So that's why Megan always looks flawless!

Charlize Theron reaches for Ole Henriksen Micro/Mini Peel System ($95), a three-step kit containing all you need to exfoliate, refine, peel, and renew your skin in minutes. Almond Polish emulates the benefits of a microdermabrasion, refining skin to smooth perfection. next, a Lemon peel emulates the benefits of an acid peel; lactic and glycolic acid combined with orange and lemon extracts plus aspartic acid go to work peeling and renewing skin. Lastly, a chamomile formula comforts skin after the more active treatment steps. Convenient, effective, and luxurious... no wonder Charlize loves it!

Miley Cyrus is a fan of Kinerase Clear Skin Blemish Dissolver ($39). A blend of proven blemish-fighting ingredients targets imperfections and works quickly and gently to reduce the buildup and blockage that can cause skin problems. The convenient stick with a roller-ball applicator offers precise spot application that helps reduce the appearance of blemishes and other breakout-related skin imperfections, even on the go. christina-ricci-02-300x400.jpgOn Wednesday, Christina Ricci debuted a new, softer style at a Blackberry Torch launch party. Ricci, who famously played Wednesday Adams in the big screen adaptation of The Adams Family, is best known for wearing a severe, dark style similar to her movie character... but is certainly no stranger to experimentation; the actress has dabbled in hues from buttery blonde to cherry red in the past.

Her new style, a gorgeous caramel auburn with varying levels of tonality, sets off her golden skin and makes her eyes pop. The actress also chopped off much of her length, taking her chest length hair up to the nape of her neck.

Definitely an upgrade in our book, although Ricci could probably pull off anything.

What do you think of Christina's new look?

Celebrity editorial stylist Mark Townsend created a full, voluminous, summery hair look for Lea Michele. "Lea wanted to look modern and sexy and this bold style, with lots of volume and texture, was perfect for the Teen Choice Awards," said Townsend.

Here's how to get Lea Michele's look:

· Shampoo and condition with Dove Damage Therapy Volume Boost Shampoo and Conditioner the night before to leave hair looking healthy and full of body

·  Distribute Dove Body & Lift Volumizing Mousse throughout and blow dry hair with round brush to add lift

· Divide hair into 5 sections: 1 top, 2 sides, 2 back

· Apply Dove Heat Defense Therapy Mist to individual sections immediately before applying curling iron to protect hair against heat styling damage

· Starting with the back section, use a double barrel curling iron on 3 inch sections of hair, letting the curled pieces fall and hair cool without pinning

· Continue to curl the entire head using the double barreled iron to create figure-eight style waves

·  Warm a pea-sized amount of Dove Frizz Control Therapy Taming Cream between the palms of hands.  Rake fingers through hair to distribute product evenly for shiny, beachy texture.

·  Flip head upside down to slightly loosen up the look and spray Dove Unscented Extra Hold Hairspray with Natural Movement throughout.

Lauren Conrad gray nails.jpg
Last Fall, Chanel teased fashionistas and lacquer junkies with peaks at its new shade: Particuliere. It caused frenzies, really, it did. The dove, taupey gray nail trend sailed into spring effortlessly shortly after. Now, as the trend continues into fall 2010, it has evolved into a cooler, heather gray.

Starlets such as Lauren Conrad (above), Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Szohr and Sienna Miller have been sporting the cement and smoke hues as of late. This neutral may not sound uber exciting at first mention, but trust us, it's the perfect complement to all the whites and brights you'll be squeezing out of your summer wardrobe in the next few weeks, as well as the richer, darker shades that perpetuate fall fashions.

Look for steely shades (we love any with slight purple undertones), that are glossy. Or pair this trend with the metallic trend to get the best of both worlds.

The Teen Choice Awards are always fun for celebs; being the teen sister of those big awards shows, they're way more relaxed and stars are free to be a bit more playful with their looks. A funky pony or bright blue lip go a long way here,  much to the delight of many fashion trendsetters watching along.

Tonight was no exception. Some of young Hollywood's finest were out in full force, and here are some of our favorite looks:

ashleygreen.jpgAshley Greene kept it fresh with natural eyes, full lashes, and rosy cheeks and lips. Her loose waves complimented the natural look.

katarina.jpgKatarina Graham took a chance with bold pink lips and jewels accenting her eyes. She accented her fun, funky look with an edgy side swept hair style.

kristenbell.jpgEverybody's favorite Cali-girl Kristen Bell kept it fresh faced and low key, down to her windblown ponytail. She added a hint of glam with a subtle cat eye and loads of gorgeous lashes.

lucyhale.jpg
Lucy Hale is a natural beauty, and played that up with gorgeous waves, tawny skin, and rosy cheeks, offset by heavily lined eyes.

selenagomez.jpgSelena Gomez tried an edgier, grown-up look than we're used to, and it totally worked! We love her errant curls and smoky shadow.

Do you agree with our picks? Who was your fave?

fc7aadedaae70fdd_emma-new-haircut.jpgPerhaps the biggest news in beauty yesterday was the reveal of Emma Watson's daring new hair. The Harry Potter star traded her long butterscotch locks for a Mia Farrow-esque pixie crop.

The young actress told EW.com: "The stylist [Rodney Cutler of NYC's Cutler Salon] just grabbed the back of my hair and took a whole ponytail of hair out." She then posted a note to fans on her twitter wall regarding the love-it-or-hate-it debate, saying: "Feels incredible. I love it. I've wanted to do this for years and years; it's the most liberating thing ever."

She's not the only celeb going short lately. What do you think of the new look?
